I’m not so sure.
His goal against Palace was a cracker, and promised so much more than the Rotherham victory achieved.
Palace a close second for me due to the fact of losing to Hull in the final.

Noble’s finest moment will always be his brace against Rotherham on the final day of the 06/07 season. Special day!

His breakthrough has been the highlight of the season for me. Incredible talent and he plays for us! Just waiting for him to put one in the back of the net after going on one of those mazy runs.

Still waiting for my FGR tickets!

Good player. RIP Joey.

What a season. So nervous going into the final game against Rotherham. Never thought we would get out of league 1 again. Sir David Noble settled the nerves though. We took it to another level the following season!

We only have ourselves to blame for our poor financial results and inability to make it to the top flight during the Lansdown years.
Huge lack of football knowledge in the boardroom during this time has resulted in multiple failed strategies and mostly poor manager/coach choices.
Don’t get me started on the Ashton trading model. Pearson is spot on with his observations.

Section 82 have sung Tom Thumb at recent games. Don’t think the younger fans know the tune so it tends to fade out pretty quickly.

Good listen. Ian turning into Rafa Benitez with his facts.

So sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Still waiting for mine. Ordered on day 1.

Looks like Josh Owers could be on the bench on Wednesday.

The thing bothers me is this sort of nonsense gets a wider audience on larger social media platforms and leads to mass unrest ( WBA away). Thus ruining all the good work that is being done to turn 2 horrendous years decline around.
I do enjoy listening to FBC but they need to provide a bit of balance sometimes. Nigel has inherited a complete mess and 1 year on in my view are in a much better state then when he joined. Sometimes you have to look beyond results and performances.

Not our best result ever but the 5-4 Mansfield win was unbelievable. I don’t think we will ever have a comeback like that in my lifetime again. I was just getting my breath back from celebrating the equaliser and Roberts slams the ball into the top corner. Limbs and bins flying everywhere in the away end.

Quality listen and two characters. Some good stories from both and brought back memories from the 90’s. Former players association is a great idea.

Is it though? Nothing really to play for, no decent form away and recent history at Preston is something akin to some weird voodoo magic. Cold January afternoon - fair shout to those 400 hearty reds I say!
Has been discussed before but our away attendances north of Birmingham are pretty poor. The extortionate rail prices don’t help!

Thought it was really catchy on Saturday . Couldn’t hear the lyrics properly but I knew the tune. Works really well for a football chant .
better sing it a lot because I don’t think he’ll be with us long sadly .
Great song. Glad someone has posted the lyrics! Just need to get the Idles song going for Semenyo.

Flint just seems a very strange character. I’ve seen him being the life and soul, I’ve seen him completely insular.
I said to someone yesterday, he’s had a bloody good career to get to where he has from his Alfreton days. Us and Boro saw him at his peak.
I will always respect Flint as a player. He put his body on the line for us during his time here. After a dodgy start he became such an important player in both boxes.

My player of the season. Great championship defender.
Jonathan Pearce commentator on five live for spurs v Everton

Listened to the commentary for a bit and Pearce mentioned that the new Spurs ground is the best he’s visited. Started to rattle off a number of other favourite grounds and I was waiting for Ashton Gate. Luckily Chris Sutton mentioned AG!
