  1. Good reading? let's hope they're bad reading .
  2. Wonder if that would have been the case if WBA had won.
  3. Christ it was even worse than I thought, let's hope it's not 29 years until we beat them again.
  4. Well worth waiting 23 years for, I figure it's a headline that you are delighted to have written but like me can hardly believe you were able to given our past results and performances at the Hawthorns.
  5. And I bet the majority travelled more in hope than expectation which makes their commitment all the sweeter. I bet it seemed a lot shorter a journey on the way back.
  6. Our win against Preston is looking more and more impressive.
  7. Maybe just maybe it's going to be our night at W Brom for a change.
  8. If only they had played us every week with our record against them.
  9. Another thing that p me off life, yes sometimes as little as ten or eleven years for somebody in their teens or twenties I really wish they would call it something else because life it's certainly not.
  10. Don't they have to serve 2/3rds now for serious or violent crimes if the sentence is 4 or more years?
  11. One of which was under said manager was it not? and I can see it, let's wait till after the next two games, we could easily be near the bottom three or just maybe not, we are so inconsistent anything could happen.
  12. Oh, come on the best we expect? plenty of coaches have done far better with a lot less to spend or work with, now who might do better? unless we spin the dice again who knows, but to say he is the best we can do at this time hmm I'm not so sure, and me I wouldn't mind a spin of that dice before it's A, too late or B, the fans start to desert us, and that already seems to have started judging by the last two REAL attendances.

    CRAZY!

Basically, what it means is as Swindon found to their cost leagues are not won in November, but after today's result leagues are not lost either but my God they are testing my patience as far as optimism is concerned as to the way the season will ultimately pan out.

    CRAZY!

unbelievably Bournemouth could go into the top six if they win their next game with an -11 goal difference, reminds me of the time we finished 4th with a zero difference a season is not only defined on your last couple of games so remember that next time we have a bad run.

Does that mean that really only 30,000 are locked out every week!

I think outside the premier league football is due a reality check but until they make parachute payments fairer clubs such as ourselves will be almost forced to pay wages that we can't really afford hence the stupid ticket prices for pay on the day, what the answer is I'm not sure maybe a few clubs going bankrupt like has happened in the rugby premiership maybe the start of sanity breaking out as far as living within their means is concerned. I once worked out that if ticket prices had followed inflation from 1971 a pay on the day price on the south stand would be about a tenner. an adult ticket was about 50p when I first paid adult prices in the open-end in 1972, prices are far higher than they should be.
