This thread has turned into a forum equivalent of clubbing baby seals.
It's surely time that the Mods gave us something stronger than a 'like'. Major, I salute you for this one!

Yeah, just forget about all the money and fantastic publicity that City have earned with our run in the League Cup this season. They’ll finally get the chance to ‘finish themselves off’ on Tuesday night.
When was the last time your team made it this far in a cup competition you massively thick ****?
Some people never learn............. why put this sort of stuff on the net when, as history shows, it'll just come back and sink its teeth into your Saggy ring piece? Pointless second leg? Right!
I'm sure there must be an official expression somewhere within Roger's Profanisaurus that adequately describes the absolute need to hope for the discomfort of others in order to make one's own sorry existence seem a bit better. If I had to take a guess at it, I think it would be something along the lines of "Gasforbrains" as in
"Is your Rovers supporting neighbour really more interested in us losing than what his Ragass outfit actually do?"................."Yeah, mate....he's total Gasforbrains"
Any other suggestions out there?

I got the sack from a calendar factory once.
All I did was take a day off.
At a job interview last week I was asked "Well, Jacko.......where do you see yourself in three years time?".
All I could tell them was "Dunno, Mate...... I don't have 2020 vision......".
I love you all.

In all seriousness, if/when DC jumps ship, who the hell is going to want to take over..?!
No money, horrific stadium, 3rd world training facilities, below average players, average support, questionable owners.... it’s hardly a job that anyone decent is going to be in a rush to take on.
During my tenure as manager of Daventry Town Reserves in the United Counties League, I really didn't't have any aspirations to move onwards and upwards within the beautiful game, so I resisted overtures from the likes of Northampton Old Chenecks and Peterborough North Star. However............ a sideways step to Chernobyl would interest me if and when it becomes available. Pen poised, ladies and gentlemen!

"Sixth richest club in England"
"We will take over City and use their stadium for our youth team games"
"We will overtake City within two years..."
"Bristol City, we're coming for you..."
"Tick tock..."
.....hollow talk that will well and truly come back to haunt them....they are so jealous it hurts, but they will never admit it....
Worth a giggle though!
And how can I ever forget........"Ha hah, hard luck The Sh1t" from that Dad in the motor? Gawblimey.

I have a lot of gas head friends, and I agree that this analysis makes me feel sorry for them. It gets worse and worse on the evidence of the great research done here.
I have NO Gashead friends. Well, I don't really have any friends at all, to be fair. But if I DID have friends, rest assured that none would be ******** *** ********!

I may be talking out of turn here but I am certain that the Al Quadi family will have studied, planned and sorted out all the possibilities of how the Mem will be developed. They will also know how they will get the best financial return from the new stadium. They aren't billionaires because they found their money down the back of the sofa! Maybe they are keeping their plans close to their chest because it is all part of the big bluff to UWE. I genuinely believe that UWE thought they were dealing with gullible, rich foreigners who UWE would be able to pull the wool over their eyes and basically rip them off. Maybe now they are in a state of panic and Wael announcing alternative plans is just a ruse to make UWE think they are about to miss out on a fantastic opportunity to have A1 facilities on their campsite. With no new stadium they are left with nothing. Yes, maybe they could put houses on the land and make some money that way but that is short sighted and in the long run will not benefit the campus. Build a state of the art stadium with loads of facilities for their students to use for many years is a far better option. I may be wrong but I am not 100% sure that the UWE stadium is dead in the water....yet! The family have been damned good to us and haven't let us down yet and I don't see why they would in the future. Let's be patient and see what happens. In the mean time I am going to carry on with a far more important task and that is to support the Gas no matter where they play.COYB FTG

Wet Dreams?
So....... where are we now? Have the family 'studied' it already, as per the delusional one's certainty. OR........ did Wali just say IF we study??????
I am minded to believe the horse's mouth rather than the horse's worst enemy.

No, I'm Rovers all right but there are supporters that are wiser and with much more inside knowledge than me who should be airing their views.
Yeah right, Bert. Keep saying it enough times and it becomes a 'fact'. For the benefit of the rest of us, I say that the person below is 'Bert Tann' and I claim my ten pounds
