Haha would definitely be going in disguise given some of the posts about Derby! More sensibly, yeah whatever corporate area dresscode is, no display of alliegance etc.

This might interest us all. The usual q's and special pleading but in amongst it, reference to suspension of withdrawal of membership. Wasn't aware it was even on the table!?

    Question 1.

Am I correct in recalling that the 'old' club shop used to stock subtle BCFC ties?  Tried to buy one online before heading to the Riverside but had no joy.  If anyone can find a source (I can't) i'd appreciate a link.

I used to fix them a long, long time ago! Bloody nightmare they were as well, vacuum tape readers.

    These bad boys too...

    IBM System/36 - Wikipedia

The height of technology they were, had about 50MB storage, solid coil n all.

Fits in nicely with the gas as it's from the 80's. ;)

Ah, 1973, Barclays Bank in Dursley, Burroughs TC500.  The banks were just starting to go 'computerised' so any counting errors I made, I would just say that it was a computer error and the customers fell for it every time!

As this is the BRFC dustbin thread, I'm happy to get back on topic………………B011ux2em.

Really? I thought the new stadium on the fruit market site was due to be finished and fully functional by now? Surely Wael hasn’t been caught out telling porkies again just to keep the blue few salivating ?!

I had a meeting at a small development site on Feeder Road last week.  I must say, I'm well impressed with the stadium development that's going on at the Fruit Market.  They've kept disruption and inconvenience to the local businesses and residents to an absolute minimum.  I'm minded to recommend the stadium developers for the Considerate Contractors scheme.  One would hardly know that they're knocking up a massive sports venue.  Flawless and non-intrusive drinks all round, I say.   ?  ?  ?

I can't help thinking that business must have been up and down?

But they've got 5 games left.  5 wins gives them 15 more points, taking them to a grand total of 71 points* for the season.  Upper mid-table finish in my book.

  7. I tried to listen to the 'game' on Talk Sport 2 whilst driving down from the North this afternoon.  I gave it my best shot but had to eventually switch to Radio 4 Extra as the commentary left me completely perplexed.  No matter what names the commentator was saying had possession of the football, I just didn't have a clue as to which team they played for.  Totally impossible to enjoy for me, mind.

    That's semantics really.

The biggest demand for tickets in a season would come in a game where we were playing the Rovers.  That would be the most important game of the season for us.

We have competitors within the Championship but there is only one genuine rivalry for City and it isn't with Cardiff, Swindon, or Plymouth.

just to backup your reasoning here @Eddie Hitler I've just looked up the first round attendance figures for the 2013 Tinpot Trophy, Southern Section (South-West Group).

    Exeter 0-2 Wycombe.                           1654

    Cheltenham 3-3 Plymouth.                  1236

    Torquay 0-0 Portsmouth.                     1951

Bristol City 2-1 Bristol Nomarks.        17888

You've nailed it my friend.  ?
