  1. What a half of football. Can only hope for more of the same, and Tottenham still seem keen to play for goals despite being down to 10!
  2. Updated comment - seems it’s on their site too.
  3. For anyone getting home from work and wanting to kill time to the announcement, have a look at the Manning thread on the Oxford forum. The switch from ‘if it happens, we’ll be fine!’, ‘he has so much integrity’, ‘he’s done fantastic whatever happens next!’ to sheer rage when the stories broke this morning is very funny. FWIW, I’m really pleased it’s him (I suppose I should still say ‘if’ really). Unsure at first but looking at his work so far in his fledging career, I think he has something. Here’s hoping Ashton Gate is where he really makes his name as he wins us the play-offs ️
  4. "Having worked with Matty Taylor I understand that there will be people wearing 'faymus quarterz' shouting about 'snaykes', but he's said it's nothing to worry about."
  5. His brother took charge of Stade Reims game yesterday Because he was suspended
  6. Politely disagree. Whoever comes in will have a job on to get us promoted, of course, but I’d be more confident Robins could pull it off than Manning.
  7. I’m warming to this idea. Though I’d be SO tempted to wait until next weekend to see if Cov pull the trigger on Robins. I know he’s a manager not a coach - but I really like him.
  8. It’s surprising that we’re seemingly announcing tomorrow and we’re so unsure. Club keeping their secrets well! Shags come home!
  9. Seemingly a German second division manager, or Manning. Or Will Still. Not Lampard, Eustace, Williams, Mousinho, Robinson. But maybe one of those five. Long week for the ITK’s this
  10. I’m amazed how few people know what blueballing/blue balls are. Thought it was a common phrase honestly!
  11. Because we’d nicked the ball off them and they were in disarray, it was a really excellent chance to score, and the foul prevented that so I think red. If it’s in the box, it’s a pen and a yellow correct? Double jeopardy rule?
  12. Yes yes yes and yes from me. But I believe he’s contracted to Cov until 2027.
  13. This seems like it’s going to slip under the OTIB radar with how lively all the threads are! So you’re confident we’re making an announcement Monday then?!
  14. Yes to my knowledge mate. No idea of its severity but I think we’d have heard if it was really bad so hopefully just a knock. Hopefully back next weekend; with four back today, if we get another one back next weekend we’re suddenly looking so much better.
  15. His short passing is normally very calm and helps us build up from the back. He always shows for it and keeps his head. His long kicking gets more stick than it deserves, he’s got three short forwards to aim at. I think he’s just a scapegoat at times, though I accept his last 3 games have been below par.
  16. Today is a good day, when we needed it. All the injury returns seem unscathed, though we did have a few in the wars today, as is normal for a scrappy game. Weimann, Conway and O’Leary all took hits but fingers crossed, all seemed ok. Rob Dickie, clean sheets and goals. My favourite signing in yonks. Injured: McCrorie Atkinson Roberts King Williams Benarous Wells
  17. His kicking is alright normally, today it stunk a bit mind. But that save wins us points, when it felt a little inevitable we were gonna let one in. Big moment for Max and really happy for that lad.
  18. Not a perfect performance but I also don’t think Wednesday are quite as shit as the table suggests. We won the game. That’s all that matters. COYFR. ️️
  19. FOUR BACK. THERE’S FOUR OF THEM. Great start to the day. Now let’s hope Curtis and the boys can make it even better. Thomas, Nelson and Idehen leave the 20, and Tanner, Vyner, James and Naismith enter it. The former three start. Three go out and four come in as we name a full bench today. Injured: McCrorie Atkinson Roberts King Williams Benarous Wells
  20. I’ve seen a few on Twitter putting him on their line-up for tomorrow - I’m certain that’s premature. But good news if it’s not serious of course. 2pm tomorrow will be very interesting, hoping for lots of good news.
  21. Well we all really hope that you never do anything to hurt yourself mate. Talk to any of us on here, or maybe book an appointment with a professional if you aren’t already. It’s a scary step but it’s absolutely the right one. Keep fighting, you don’t want to miss the day Bristol City finally do something!
  22. Then it’s done in my eyes. No cause to doubt Shags. Interesting appointment, we’ll be on Sky a lot more!
  23. They'll be disappointed if so, tried to get our hopes up on Lampard and most City fans were like 'na don't want him, hope this falls through'. Waste of a few of his afternoons
