Well done chaps. Kept them quiet for long periods and gave them a few scares. There bench alone was 355m to assemble. And that’s with getting Haaland on the cheap. Absolutely no shame, really proud to be red tonight. Well done boys ️

The two cup tied lads are of course absent tonight which is a shame. The 4 vacant places are taken up by the returning Kane Wilson, and youngsters Morrison, Thomas and Francois. Taylor-Clarke keeps his spot on the bench too.

Yea really looking forward to this one. A bit fearful if I’m honest but no reason to be, we’ve got absolutely nothing to lose against a team like Man City. Let’s give a good account of ourselves and enjoy the occasion.

Just had a quick look at the maths and it’s difficult to say the least. Par for 6th is about 74 points, we have 44. 13 games to play, 30 points needed. 10 wins and three defeats (or 9w 3d 1l). Like the FA Cup, it IS possible. Just unlikely.

We’re safe. We can dream of play-offs and FA Cup’s for a bit instead of worrying about League 1

I must say though, @Davefevs, surely a 'youth' team player could be invited to join the bench if need be. A shame that S-PH has been sent out on loan to Yeovil - I do understand that this move will probably be better for his development, rather that just sitting on the bench Tuesday evening. 

Ah course - forgot about the cup-tied duo. Was chatting to some people about that today, the silver lining to it is that Bell deserves his start on the left. FA Cup has been his competition this season.

Horrible to lose big Rob to an ACL - but what a player to have as cover. Vital we keep him fit. Excellent over the last 1.8 games. 

I thought last season we were very good against the bottom 5 or so teams? Seem to recall we took lots of points from them.

Just got home so pardon my lateness but YEEEAAAAAAASSAASS.

Massive win. I feel great. And to win with a penalty as well - beautiful justice. 

He’s always been important to us but last two games he’s been exceptional. I think a big part of it is he has an excellent reading of the ball and where it will fall - his 50/50’s are more like 70/30’s in his favour. Love it Matty.

Kalas takes Atkinson’s place in the XI, and Omar Taylor Clarke comes in to the vacated spot on the bench. Crap news regarding Atkinson’s ACL - he was playing very well. All the best big man!

Nice and clear FAQ’s from the Club which is good - this shirt is for the remainder of this season and next. An away kit will be announced in due course. 
 

Hummel were being a problem and we’ve solved it. 
 

I’m 50/50 on the shirt design - but it blows me away how angry some people get at a kit they don’t like. Some you’ll like, some you won’t. There’ll be a new one season after next, just relax!

So would this mean an immediate change of kit for the remainder of the season? Maybe a kit that will be used for the remainder of this season and all of next? I don't recall ever seeing anything like this to be honest.

Press hard and they'll play through us and wreak havoc on our defense, sit in and they'll patiently wear us down and tire us out. 

My plan? Pray.

Had hoped sooner for Naismith - was praying for the Man City game but clearly that was very optimistic. We have what we have, let’s see what happens. Up the City.
