Feel even better about our win now!

Just underlines how good a win it was.

Russell Martin . A ego on legs. What a arrogant cock

Yet to achieve anything as a manager.

Just saw that on the replay, absolutely scummy behaviour trying to get his opposing manager sent off for what was a clear accident. Zero respect.

Not watching but I've no love for Martin. I was shocked when he said post match we were good.

Blokes a series of asterisks 😀

  3. The Mrs is French and from that side of the country so have spent a few holidays in and around the Alps, Haut-Savoie etc.

Last summer we were had the opportunity to stay at her cousins chalet in Megeve, which we would never be able to afford to do ourselves. It's a very pretty little town and one of the most exclusive ski resorts in the world in season. It can be a bit pricey even in the summer but you can find reasonable places to eat and drink. It's quite the experience just sat drinking a cold beer watching the super rich do their thing. Every other car is a super car it seems!

We day tripped from there to Chamonix, not for the town, it's nothing special, but to go up the Aiguille du Midi. That was stunning and something i would recommend to anyone that gets the chance, unless of course you are terrified of heights.

Annecy is lovely and is cycle friendly. Quite a few routes you can cycle to from there.

If you want a more off road experience then the Sixt fer a Cheval is a stunning place to hike or cycle.

Parc de Merlet is a nice day out. At altitude opposite the Mont Blanc massif, it's a wildlife park but with native alpine species and some stunning views.

Spent some time in the Jura mountains as well. It's sub-alpine so not so high but that might make it a little more cycle friendly but lets face it, there will be plenty hills to climb wherever you go in that part of the world. Not quite Alpe d'Huez on Le Tour but still going to have to earn those views and a rewarding dinner and drinks in the evening.

Let me know if you want any more info about the above and have a great trip, it's a beautiful part of the world.

I haven't approached him, but I have said before he looks a bit of a lonely figure sat outside Costa face timing presumably his family on a  Friday night.

Do you think he only came because of Nige? It certainly seemed to put us in pole position to sign him.

Would not be cheap to replace him like for like with a younger model and you would lose all that experience.

I hope we offer him something decent and he wants to stay. Don't think anyone would begrudge him a move closer to home for the reasons you've mentioned though.

Bit overhyped. It took a big deflection & is credited as an own goal . Great bit of skill though. I was impressed by him when he was on loan at Cardiff last season . Got be a song with his surname with billy jean tune .

I only just noticed the deflecton! Probably an attempted cross then.

Still, you need some skill and confidence to even try that.

Wow I completely forgot it existed for a bit until reading this post.

I’ve just had a look through and so many threads with little to no engagement. Quite a few in the low hundreds in terms of views.

Its been a really bad move & should change back imo.

    Exactly.

Many will agree but will now sadly fall on deaf ears.

Nothing personal, but this has become so boring now

We have gone around and around in circles - it was previously discussed as the link on page 1 shows, and an agreement was made

As above, all the admin are in agreement that it will stay as it is

By all means feel free to continue to comment, but there is no more for me to say

I can't speak for the majority but im sure it's the same for them, i've no problem seperating your posts as member and those when you have your Mod/Admin hat on. No reason for things to be aimed at you personally as you've your just the active member of the team making things happen. There is no issue there.

I think it's just a little disrespectful to the majority of members that don't want the sub forum that a decsion was made by the team and that's that, no more discussion.

It was moved on a whim for a trial, majority don't want it, have clearly voted for it to be put back as it was but now that's the end of it and we are shut down, no more discussion.

Pretty poor for what is a well run, very active and much loved forum.

The delusion never ends does it?

    5th biggest City, nope.

    More blue than red, nope.

    Need more than 16k, nope.

    Facts Wael!

They just make it up as they go along and buy into any BS that perpetuates their long list of myths about how great amd massive they are.

Check that statement again in 3 seasons as by all accounts they'll be selling out a 16k stadium versus Leeds in the Champ 🤦‍♂️

  9. The only thing that bothered me about it moving is that it was suggested by handful without a vote then got moved, yet when it was requested to moved back, loads of people voted for that yet the mods just decided to leave it be.

Hardly democratic. If enough voted for it to stay, not a problem but they didn't and we still have the sub forum.
