should have travelled last night like I did - people knew the trains were going to be a problem today. I have no sympathy
Classy.
Seeing as GWR themselves said yesterday they would running. No need for those sort of comments to fellow supporters.

Exactly Free Speech is what it is you have your say I have mine. And if I don’t like what you say I have right of reply and so do you. This is how it works and continues to work.
Free speech can get harder when people want to make someone that doesn’t agree with them the bad guy.
That’s been turned into an art form in the USA.
But I have big shoulders. Big enough for a football forum.
FOR THE RECORD.
I LIKE THE EX PLAYERS FORUM AND I DON’T CARE IF SOME PEOPLE THINK MY OPINION IS NOT POPULAR OR DISAGREE.
Hope that’s clear. Now excuse me as me myself and I grapple with upsetting other people! And having a continued life!!
FWIW i don't think you or anyone else of the same opinion is a bad guy here. A difference of opinion is fine. It was suggested, tried and now being discussed as to if it should stay, that's all healthy without sides having to be formed about it. I'm not and i don't think anyone else is particularly upset about this.

SUGGEST it might be an idea. Yes is my opinion a problem?
No, why would your opinion be a problem? Everyone is entitled to one as far as i'm concerned.
This one just didn't happen to be a popular one by the looks of it.

Does OTIB have a rule book?
Blimey I need to stop having a life!
Were you not one of the people to request the sub forum?
-
I think Silvio has tried to do this by the rulebook and also invited opinion. When the sub forum was created none of that happened yet still it was created due to an unknown amount of requests. I remember a couple of members asking about it but it then just appeared.
The suggestion to merge back has IMO been done correctly and fairly and should now be actioned by the Mods/Admin.
I will say that i'm sure we all understand that trying to keep the Football Forum tidy is like herding cats sometimes but a sub forum is not going to be a cure-all for that, there will always be a need to merge topics, most people don't look beyond the first page for a topic if they even check beyond half way down!

We'll see a lot of the ball again. Millwall have only had around 35% in their last couple of games but have still created chances and have a few clean sheets too.
Would not be surprised to see a score draw today.

Semenyo was poor today, just for balance!
Well done to Bobby though.

Took both chances well and 2nd was only just offside. He pointed to the stand when he scored, no doubt his Spurs supporting family were in attendance. Nice moment for him.

Did we beat Millwall?
HNY all!

Yep, put it to a pole to be fair but I think most would want those posts back in the main football forum.

For reasons I am struggling to get my melon round. I now have the Paul Young version of 'Living in the love of the common people' going on a loop in my head.
Wally's gonna buy them a dream to cling to, something about it being an invisible ground.
How apt...
The lyrics tell a bleak story of poverty and unemployment. There is a mention of "free food tickets," a reference to government food stamp and welfare programs, in the first line, and the lyrics also describe the subject family as having holes in their clothes, their roof and their shoes.

It's my son's birthday today as well, so it's always double dessert plus cake...I'm done and there's still a cheese board in the offing!

I hate having to defend Robbored, I really do.
But it is factually correct that to say Jim Brennan, although by trade a left back, played a lot of games for the club on the right hand side as Darren Barnard and then Mickey Bell were at the club at the same time as Jim. He was adept enough (and I remember MoM performances) to play right side and often did.
Martin Scott, however was undoubtedly a left back and apart from maybe playing central on the odd occasion played all games there.
So, it’s likely he got Brennan right through luck as opposed to judgement.

I posted earlier that i vividly remember Brennan and Scott being LBs. Glad someone else remembered as well.

George Tanner has huge boots to fill considering how many very decent RBs we’ve had over the years. Scott, Brennan to name just two. He’s still relatively inexperienced and the more he plays the more his game will improve.
They were both LBs.
