George Tanner has huge boots to fill considering how many very decent RBs we’ve had over the years. Scott, Brennan to name just two. He’s still relatively inexperienced and the more he plays the more his game will improve.
They were both LBs.

Cracking strike from 25 yards into the top corner as well.

BBC say first back to back wins in the Champ since Feb. He must be doing something right.

We were worth that. Good opponent, not easy, not perfect but we deserved it.
That's 3 good sides on good runs we've done at home now. We are improving in most areas game by game.

Worth remembering as well that this was not actually a crap Man U side when considered in the context of the past 10 years.
Sure they'd lost their air of invincibility under Fergie but that season they were playing Champions League football and ended up finishing second in the PL with their highest points tally since Fergie left in 2013, as well as being runners-up in the FA Cup.
Yep, top quality opposition and a huge scalp make no mistake.
I think they were 2nd and well in the running for the title when we beat them.

Not too many player managers around these days, assuming he's still going to play that is.
Not someone I would of seen as a future manager. Be interesting to see how he gets on it that dual role.

Excellent again, understandably tired near the end, but gets through so much work.
He's a bit like a modern day Gary Shelton.

Nice that our opponents will feel hard done by for a change.
Nod to Max and a juicy 3pts. Well done lads.

There's no story here, he's using data like any other modern club does. It's an assistive tool, he's not taking direct orders from some football manager AI bot.
This is just being used as a stick to beat him with IMO.
God I hope we get a win today.

It looked likely but that's impressive support none the less. Well done all.
I'll be watching online and I'm sure I'll be able to hear you with those numbers.

Plenty of time for him to develop so you never know but I think he will likely always be in Jude's shadow such is the amazingly talented player he is.
Perhaps a bit like the Laudrup brothers and hopefully for his sake not like the Pogbas.
Welcome back btw, you've picked an interesting time to return. At least we can be sure you're not a Bristol Sport AI bot.

We seem to be flogging an out of form Sam Bell at the moment. No lack of effort as always but needs a break IMO. Mehmeti, i'm still not convinced on. A bit more effective tonight but i still wouldn't trust him with a start yet. How many full 90s has he done since he arrived?

I think we are 2 or 3 players short for this style of football for starters. Far too passive in the main tonight. Post 2-0 and subs we were much, much better but we need to be more aggressive when in possesion and those spells of control.

Heard similar earlier.
Sounds like they are absolutely falling apart. All the coaches have left as they were all Barton’s men and he had been given so much power there they’ve all gone with him, including director of football. New owners son who’s really young has been put in charge to run the day to day and has no idea what he’s doing.
Matt Taylor has gone in like a bull in a China shop, nailed the players loads and cancelled their Christmas party last minute. His assistant at Rotherham is being kept on by Richardson, so he essentially has no coaching staff to work with other than Bryan Anthony and their centre of excellence coaches having to step up.
They’re charging £38 a ticket for some games as they’re losing so much money from the new stand delays - that is now up, and blocking the floodlights causing a decent chunk of the penalty box on that side to be in total darkness.
I don’t think being called total amateurs is even doing it justice.
38 quid to watch Chris Martin mow the lawn. Jesus wept.

inc 500 odd away fans, on their 140th anniversary, new managers first home game and something of a local derby.
Must of been a jumble sale on in Filton or something.
