The Leyton Orient commentators said the stand it was replacing was called "the old tent"

An improved performance on QPR and at least some signs of the style we are headed for under LM as a minimum.
If that ends in a draw, I'd probably be content. Anything more would be impressive.

Clearly using the Holden method. Long intensive search, only to give it to the assistant.

Absolutely gutting. Such a talented young lad. Seems worse than even Christian Ribeiro.
Just hope he can still get a career out of the game he must love.

I'm enjoying this, it's like the real Robbored has passed away and the admins have fed an AI language model all 41,300+ of your posts to create an incredibly inane chatbot in a very touching tribute.
And the computer used was the one on Chock-A-Block and programmed by Fred Harris...

All that faff and excitement for something that is akin to something in the national league
May as well add pillars to the dug outs to match.

Full 90 for Sykes, again didn't look like he took any knocks so should be availble for Sat.
2 poor looking sides though, was a tough watch!

Knight off on 53 mins didn't look like he'd taken a knock, just giving someone else mins.

Pressed well there to get the assist.

What a ******* joke.

He got himself in a good position from the break and the opposition defender didn't even look over his shoulder, hence the opportunity coming for him.
One for the family album, well done Sam.

Assists a last min winner with England down to 10. Missed the ball with a good chance presented but kept his cool and found an England player in the box for the goal.

I suppose as City fans, scoring 2 qualifies as a "goal fest"!
Yeh not quite France v Gibraltar was it!

Apros of nothing, this gives me opportunity to give my favourite ever pop fact.
Brian Harvey, erstwhile chavtastic lead singer of east 17, once ran over himself. Mr Harvey had, as opposed to taking too many drugs - he definitely hadn’t been taking too many drugs - had eaten three jacket potatoes for lunch. This was too many by far, so as he drove off he opened his door and leant over to vomit. While doing so, he disengaged the handbrake, causing the car to roll forward and run him over.
And that’s still less comical than at least three things the gas do on a weekly basis.
And his Mrs' nose fell apart, which if your trying to snort jacket spuds everyday, makes perfect sense.

Good read. I liked this...
'The common thread here is the slow death of the midfield specialist. These days your midfield – whether individually or in the aggregate – needs to be able to dribble out of a high press, to pick a forward pass through traffic, to cover for the full-back, to provide a late-running goal threat, to be as elusive and unpredictable as possible. In short, the days of simply sticking Rice and Henderson in front of a back four and hoping for the best are probably over.'
Alex Scott popped straight into my head.
And this...
'The new Italy coach, Luciano Spalletti, has said the role of the classic regista – think Andrea Pirlo or Jorginho – needs rethinking in a more intense and physical sport.'
They used to say things like Pirlo played in his pipe and slippers such was the ease of his performance. Brilliant player, so incredible to think that his style wouldn't fit with some of the elite teams of today. He only retired 5 or 6 years ago.
And this is a great line...

Cant see anything on the OS about his call up.
Is it him? Going back to pre season i think it was, wasn't there another youngster who looked quite a bit like TC?
Anyway, if he is playing the Belgium v Scot 21s is on the Scottish FA's YouTube tonight as an alternative to the England goal fest v Malta. KO 7pm so could at least get the first half in.

That's about £2 a game for Leeds supporters.

Subbed on 60 mins. From what i've heard (was making and having dinner at the time) it's not a particularly great performance by England. Sam involved in bits and pieces but i didn't catch any stand out moments.

I tuned in, first thing i heard was "that was really good play by Sam Bell".
Strange there is no way to watch it though.

I think the midfield will get an overhaul in the summer. I'd like TGH to be a part of that, perhaps replacing James as the opportunity presents itself, likewise with Williams.

Kiss of death. 0-0, no talking points. Two editorial shots of a menacing seagull perched on the main stand.
I missed the seagull but spot on.

Hoping LM gets more out of that performance than i did watching it. Better once the subs were made but overall a real stinker of a game.
good news if your on holiday in devon and cornwall
