Yes but ironically, if he was ours we would be in a worse position. He would be off in Jan without a doubt. We wouldn't need any money from a transfer if he was ours and sold (true billionaire owner and all that). So it's actually more beneficial for us right now to have his availability (injury aside) guaranteed for the season. Your one man team does not have that luxury though.

As usual, you are in our shadow yet again, we simply have the best young player at Chelsea with a sky's the limit future ahead of him on loan and you don't.

I to have on occasion overheard them talking about the club in a similar manner. They'll reel that same load of nonsense out to anyone that will listen. Heard the game at Chelsea described recently as "amazing, really really good" Match ticket still on display for all the world to see like one of last years Glasto wristbands.

I like this one where the poster has put together a list of 7 'proven top quality league 1 players' that he wishes they had signed instead if the carp that they ended up with.  Just so happens that 4 of the players listed are old servants of ours. Of course it is hilarious when they try and do it.  Bristol Shitty makes no sense as an insult when it is said by fans of a team that have pretty much always been lower than us in the leagues.  Trashton Gate makes no sense coming from fans of a club that have never ever had a stadium anywhere near as good as even the old Ashton Gate.

Still, keep on developing Gasheads, one day you might pass the 4 years olds and develop to a level where you can use really simple similes to describe us.

Thats not to say that I don't enjoy "debating" with some of the gasheads I know.  It's banter and always a laugh. No-one takes it seriously.

A mate of mine passed away earlier this year - a dedicted Gashead and season ticket holder at the Mem. He had three sons and one of them did his eulogy at the graveside. He mentioned that his dad had three sons and said "he brought two us the right way"  a tongue in cheek remark that his older brother is a City fan.....there was a chuckle at the gravesite. and lots of smiles even on a such a sad day.

How anyone can claim to "hate" the gasheads is simply ludicrous in my view.
