  1. I’ve no particular beef with Derby but surely the time has come for a so called big club to be allowed to die as a warning to every other club including ours that lives beyond its means In the last twenty years we’ve had this with Leeds and Portsmouth and Bolton and if Derby survive it’s only a matter of time before some other club gets into this sort of mess The fact they’re a so called big club means they’ve already been given a lot more leeway than Bury did for example and the time has come to set a hard deadline with an explicit warning that if it’s missed they be expelled from the league Having a bigger club die would hopefully focus some minds on reform which probably wouldn’t happen otherwise and deal with the financial gulf between the premier league and the championship whilst levelling the playing field in the championship. None of this is likely to happen when clubs are allowed to soldier on having paid only a fraction of their debts
  2. It can be done though, Huddersfield jumped from finishing 18th to losing the playoff final in one season courtesy of some shrewd transfer business
  3. Could the money laundering checks issue be due to having to convert bitcoin into cash?
  4. They are founder members don’t you know
  5. One of the rumours doing the rounds is he’s the one who paid last months wages
  6. Makes a good cycling jersey if that’s your thing
  7. Would be interesting to know how many more keepers shirts they’ve sold in the last few years to before
  8. That doesn’t make it fair though especially when every other year it’s over two legs. Obviously Ukraine would’ve had to hold theirs at a neutral stadium
  9. How is it fair to have a one off final at one teams stadium. I know they’ve tried milking these playoffs by having more teams than normal involved but surely a one off match where the winner goes to the World Cup should be played in a neutral stadium
  10. Also bizarre that both Bristol clubs season tickets cost more than Man Utd although it was during their barren period
  11. Is a classy comeback and implies the players attitude is what caused him to be loaned out in the first place
  12. Given some of the decisions Huddersfield were on the receiving end of it’ll be interesting to see what if any pressure gets put on the PGMOL, normally these wrong decisions in the premier league don’t cost teams upwards of £100 million Might ruffle a few feathers if Huddersfield suggested taking legal action..
  13. He also makes the point about why pay to develop someone else’s players when you can develop your own for free
  14. I’m torn, with the arrogance forest’s fans have shown I’d love to see them stay down but if they do sky will spend all next season fawning over them
  15. Can’t help but think if an English side played like that and won the reaction around Europe would be that our sides can’t play but because it’s Real Madrid they’re world beaters I don’t really get the anti Liverpool stuff though, they’re a english based team and I’ve even supported arsenal in a champions league final before. Don’t get why people wanted Madrid to win yet another one
  16. Out of interest is it us or the player who’d normally notify Luton?
  17. The West Ham forum knees up mother brown has a fabulous new kits thread going back years and posts every clubs kit as it’s launched and well worth a trawl though https://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=129905&sid=f067f3acc998f92c78e4fce0d967cf73&start=14400
  18. Simplify the offside rule, if you’re ahead of the last defender you’re offside regardless of whether you’re interfering or not
  19. I actually meant more in connection to the fans coming on at the end. You never got it when fa cup semis were at neutral venues for example
  20. Do wonder if there’s potential to change the play off format to avoid the scenes seen at forest and port vale and have a one off semi at a neutral ground. It’s no coincidence that both penalty shootouts so far have been won by the home side who had a passive advantage (yes i know they earned that over the season)
  21. Hillsborough means that’ll never happen
  22. Does the liquidation of Rangers in 2012 act as a precedence at all? From memory it was the HMRC’s rejection of the CVA that forced Rangers into liquidation and Rangers are arguably a much bigger club than Derby County
  23. So they haven’t agreed anything with HMRC then?
  24. Would Bakinson be one of the 4 given Ipswich already have a option to buy?
