I've now found a link to their forum that works. https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/39560-derby-county-vs-bristol-city-matchday-thread-saturday-3pm-kick-off/
The match day thread is already four pages long. Some are posting to say how proud they are of their team, others just being rude about not just City, but even Bristol as a whole.
This season has been one of, if not, the best in my 27 years as a ST holder. The bond built between the club and the fans is unbelievable.
Apparently, there's only one team in Bristol, but I have to ask : would anyone outside of Bristol notice if there were no teams in Bristol?
People who live in Derby being rude about Bristol?

Bristol City wish
Neil Warnock has appeared on Soccer Saturday
During one of a number of memorable appearances on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday, Warnock spoke of his relationship with the fans of Cardiff's rivals, Bristol City.
“I joke with their fans that, when I do pass away, I hope they all have a minute’s applause for me at Ashton Gate and remember the good times I’ve given them,” explained Warnock. "I don’t want silence. I want them all to be chanting ‘Warnock’s a w*****’ over and over again. For a whole minute. That would be my ideal.”
He’s only saying that because he’s worried it will actually happen

It's myopic to think your football team is in some way different from any other, neoliberalism has handily seen to homogenising the supporter experience around the UK, be that in our hinterlands or otherwise.
Bristol is a bit of a weird city though. Henri Lefebvre would have us believe that the change to our spatial practice with the redevelopment of the ground and street spaces around it has altered the feel of the club - that changes social cohesion, it changes the structure to our experience in the representational space.
Comfort is putting it a bit plainly. Capitalism obliterates differences between football clubs, so there's no reason to think it's particularly unique to us imo.
Would we be having this discussion if we'd won the FA Cup in 1909? I don't think so. Bad luck and internal mismanagement, I reckons I do.
Oh well and onto the next one.
Sorry, you’ve lost me. Either you’re too intelligent for me or you are living up to your name.

Going by my own experience of mid 50’s I think it’s time for him to get out. I was fit as a fiddle 3 years ago. Still doing marathons, triathlons and 5 asides. Then my legs and knees gave in, I got depressed, stopped fitness , comfort ate, got more depressed following City and so the cycle goes on. I used to manage people quite well but have no patience for young adults today.
Seems Nigel is on a similar path.Bloody hell. Sorry mate.

I think the timing of this thread works in Warnock’s favour

Those were the first two games of the season and I reckon that affected our players. They developed a feeling they could not win.
Next week is the chance for revenge at Blackpool (not far from Preston either).
That’s a good point. Once the doubts creep in to mentally weak players…..

Missing today as having a colonoscopy this morning, jury is still out as to whether my bowels or city’s defence will have the more uncomfortable afternoon
Thanks for that

Well done for steering the aging Alan through those memories.

Yeh, he went to Mangotsfield School (my mate taught him) and I played with his (cough cough) Grandad for RMC Wick, and his Aunty used to cut my hair in Cleeve Wood!
That will be your proud claim to fame when Ryley is playing for England in a World Cup Final

The mannerisms are SO Gareth Keenan out of The Office
Could definitely be a scene from The Office with Tim winding up Gareth. All it needs is LJ as David Brent trying to get in on the act.

never claimed to be a great parent as im sure all parents have there ups and downs. Get things right and get things wrong. But im not going to call parents shitty as above just because i dont agree.
Your posts suggest you have missed the point. Pitch invasion is not allowed by non-playing humans. Parents should therefore not allow their kids to do it.

I heard that he turned up at the interview, only to be told that he is sacked.
An unacceptable winless streak but the board would like to place on record their thanks to Roy……

A triumph of hope over expectation.
Away to Luton on a cold Tuesday in January?
We all know the script for that one.
(but I’m still hopeful we can nick it, I never learn)

Perhaps Ashton’s “rigorous” process will take another six weeks; by which time, LJ may well be out of a job & looking to work for his mate again?!
I could understand a rigorous process to find a manager but I seem to remember Ashton said finding Dean was vigorous

Did he also say something like
They have done nothing for the entire match and scored with their only shot of the game
If any current players are reading this then we’ll settle for 1-0 wins like that at the moment.

I'm struggling to think of a manager who's never made a bad substitution.
To be critical of the way a substitution turned out you have to be a professor of hindsight
