I’ve been told Luke Thomas has been one of their better players since returning. Poor management for me that - not saying I don’t disagree with Barton but there is a way to do it.

I actually thought we looked decent after the subs. Tempo raised a level. We were the better side. Got caught out, they scored and we lost the game. The end. We move on (or at least some of us will it seems). Usual suspects are prominent tonight.

I love the guy. Dealt a crap hand however has created a culture at the club that I can align with. Of course I’d love a bit more quality but first thing is a side who wear the badge with pride and earns its money. Our energy levels and game enthusiasm appears higher than it has been for years. Decent and disciplined first half. Leicester look entertaining down the flanks without any real quality in the box. Vardy hasn’t had a sniff. Can see him being switched for the ex Man City lad (won’t attempt to spell him name).

Really appreciate the effort the team has put in. The pressing, the competing of first and second balls, the winning of first and second balls, busting guts to get back in to position and generally showing a bit of pride. Aware that is the minimum but that is all we ask for as supporters (not including rolls royce performances, goals and clean sheets).

Say what you want about Pearson but he is incredibly brave with some of his substitutions. The confidence he shows in our youngsters is unmatched. Certainly in my lifetime.
