I actually think Sundays are a benefit for numbers. Bristol has a decent local football scene on a Saturday which means many miss out.

Probably the fact that Diaz contributes regularly with goal involvements and is one of the more desired forwards in the division. Provides consistent contribution on a match day. The same can’t be said of Massengo - has often flattered to deceive (when selected)..

The minimum requirement we expect. Perhaps Pearson expects a little more than we have been used too for a number of years. Massengo gets better the more he doesn’t play for the first team. At this rate he’ll be up there with Messi by the time we wave him off.

Like you say, you expect sweating at football. I do. For my eldest it wasn’t a major issue - yet my 6 year old attending her first game (when tickets are reasonably priced), little different.

Thanks. On second look I still don’t think we should be playing there. We aren’t good enough (as proved). That said, it’s very sloppy from Atkinson. Summed up the first period where we were off the pace and overran in the middle of the pitch. Once we started to put Swans under pressure in the second half it should their fragilities. We made them look like Brazil in the first half.

Is there a link on the thread to Swanseas goal? My first thought was Max was majorly culpable and the pass to Atkinson wasn’t on. I thought it should have come out left if we were planning on overplaying in the wrong areas.
