  1. I quite enjoy seeing players of certain ilk who have played in the prem, your Newcastle’s or when we see a Rooney managing the opposition. I can’t say I’d feel as excited about paying 30+ notes to watch like Phil Walsh at Dag and Redbridge in the old forth division. Each to their own though. I am content in the championship.
  2. Not disputing that. It’ll be for far more than we are offering though.
  3. FFS. You’ll be suggesting Dyche when Wilder turns us down.
  4. Sykes has had a reasonable start to be fair. Sometimes players become available and you have to take the plunge. Many on here are complaining our squad is wafer thin. Sykes has enhanced the squad / competition..
  5. Can detect huge frustration in Pearson’s interview on RB. Trying to be reserved but bombs would of been dropped.
  6. Will all have offers. I reckon more than we can offer too.
  7. Was only a couple of games back we were dominating Norwich having had an acceptable start - many on here now stating the end is near and we are to be relegated in October. Really? We all took the piss out of Swindon a few years back when they dropped their seminal fluids early doors !
  8. Would you rather good attacking football but just missing out on promotion year on year or sub standard continuous championship football against better opposition / quality / stadia ?
  9. Naughty step bingo pending. Get your shots ready. I’ll skip this one till tomorrow - as the result / performance is bad enough without Ian Gay adding to the mix ? Congrats on the downloads though.
  10. Would be good to understand Pearson’s thought process re King when interviewed.
  11. Chuckling at some of the wallies who are over reacting but do agree with this post. Madness to play King there - we got away with it in the week.
  12. Noble was a superb talent. He’d have fit straight into Wilson’s team for both reasons ?
  13. Those play off games against Palace under GJ. Something else.
  14. Reid was more instrumental to the way we played than I ever realised. In fact, our recent pressing from the front with Conway provides similarities.
  15. Maybe we’ll get the opportunity to see how we’ll fair without Naismith starting attacks. Few have called for it.
  16. Keep hearing this on the Forever Bristol podcast. They are consistently banging the drum on there. As many recognise, if we take Naismith out of the back 3, we lose what he brings when setting up our attacks. No other defender can do it as they aren’t ball players.. No doubt he drives me crazy when he’s dropped a clanger but also appreciate how he now makes us tick moving forward. Kalas returning, with his pace, alongside him may get us out of certain situations.
