Well played City. Superb effort.
Encouraging signs once again. Definitely progressing.

Love Tinnion’s positivity.

Shows the quality of these ex Prem sides - able to bring on a former 15m quid man in Gibson.
-
Bentley. Quality. “The usual”.

Norwich. Rattled.

Here we go then.

What a decent side we are.

My expectations haven’t risen dramatically re result. I’m chuffed and pleasantly surprised when we do win currently. I do though expect us to score and most likely concede late. Very much enjoying the ride.

Potter en route.

Just arguing against the “he spent loads” myth, which totally ignores the fact we kept selling our best players. Irrespective of whether it was players he signed, he still lost his best players, so was given some of that transfer income to spend
To be honest, most teams lose their best players in the championship.

Gary Johnson, by far the best manager in my time watching city. Followed by Lee Johnson.
Danny Wilson had a ridiculous squad, but couldnt get promoted. Failure to have Lita on the bench, for the play-off final was craziness. The only thing you can call him, is a proper failure. The idea we played great football, was nonsense too. We just had very good players.
I find it outrageous that LJ is above Cotts. All about opinions though. That’s why we love it.

Taking of podcasts, anyone listen to the 3 Peeps one lately? Matt’s continual use of the words “ a celeb” when referring to a celebration is Brent esq What’s that about?

Tierney must have watched the replay 10-12 times before making a decision. Clear and obvious should be instant. Let them see it twice from two angles only and then make a call.

Picture it. It’s 2026. An England team featuring Alex Scott, Tommy Conway and Kal Naismith - fresh from winning the Prem and CL with Bristol City - have just won the World Cup beating rivals Scotland (who include Joe Bryan and Louis Carey).
COYR
Ridiculous as you failed to include Zak Vyner’s Ballon D’or success.

I’m sure he has had an impact yet there were green shoots during the last half/third of the year. Pearson has been working on the club culture for sometime. There was talk years ago of “5 pillars” strategy from the previous bluffers - if anyone is putting the foundations in for success at this club it’s been Pearson. As many have said previously, we wasted about 3 years towards the end of LJ’s reign and the appointment of Holden. There no doubt will be losses on the bounce at some point but I remain comfortable that the culture and character that has been improved will see us out of it and bounce back quickly.
Worth watching the Arsenal documentary. Arteta had/has a clear vision around the non negotiables and culture. I believe our situation is very similar. Patience was so important.

We’ve got a team of players here. All buying into it.

Haven’t heard much of those club knockers in respect of “O’Dowda assists” or “Pato goal involvements” lately

No hatrick for Nahki, or Naki as this commentator calls him.

Disappointed for Wells that he’s been taken off.

It’s a bit uncomfortable at the minute. We’ve lost control in the middle.

Turnover speed from defence to attack is rapid.
Great finish Nakhi.

Alex Scott has been levels above. Some talent. So comfortable on the ball almost glides with it.

Definitely suits the way Palace play should there be interest - can see why. More so if Zaha gets a move tomorrow. Could be big numbers.
Is it Time for Semenyo to start??

Maybe. But who for?
Also, often when Semenyo comes on we’ve changed our approach play.
