Scott had no one to pass to . I know the moment you are referring to . They cut inside to block passing angles , and JD and Sykes had gone too far forward too soon . Scott had no clear options . Partly their good work to cut out passing lines and our boys a little too eager . Credit to Scott , no panic , did not launch it , played it back to safety and we kept the ball .

Agreed. He actually gave Conway a rocket for his lack of movement on that occasion.

I agree, he hasnt done anything wrong, but leaving like that leaves a bitter after taste. We just need to secure a sell on clause if he does go! Its a shame too cause the supporter base in general have really taken to him and to wind his contract down like that kinda throws that back in peoples faces.

Wind his contract down or honour it?

Pring is a better LB than DaSilva and every time the ball goes anywhere near Zak Vyner it gives me the collywobbles.

It would be nice to have Semenyeo for 90 minutes, but I guess he's not quite ready for that yet, however a very dangerous forward for us to have on the bench.

I think Massengo is probably worth his place for the sheer effort he is putting in at the moment even if he is just trying to put himself in the shop window.

Tommy Conway has surprised me this season and looks an interesting prospect, but Nahki Wells still isn't giving 100% in my opinion.

I was wondering whether we could switch Andi Weimann and Alex Scott at various stages of the game to confuse the opposition and also switch the two forwards from left to right occasionally to see which is working best to add to the confusion.

Plenty of options on the bench now for when fresh legs are needed or to tweak the formation later in the game.

    Prediction: Robins 2 Terriers 0

Can I ask re the Wells comment, what gives you that impression?

Should have won that today. It wasn't just the horrible defensive mistake we had good chances. Successful teams are more clinical. They were terrified of Semenyo when he came on so why not use that? Hopefully Massengo was substituted to stop any last minute offers, James and Williams are not mobile or creative and invite pressure. Scott is not a right wing back and should be in the middle. But we have the makings of something very positive and will only improve and I am sure we are doing much better than many thought.

Substituted for the purpose of avoiding last minute offers ? Didn’t think he was at the races for the 45 he was on.

Another poor pass that almost cost us a goal.

I'm wondering if at half time taking Wells off and moving Weimann into his position, Scott into Weimanns position and having Wilson come come on play wingback would not be a good shout. Scott would be more comfortable in the middle, Wilson would be looking to show and Weimann would probably be happier in a position where he gets more opportunities?

Interesting you say Wells as neither forward have had a look in as yet.

The problem at United run deep, and while the owners are shit, they aren't the route course of the problem,

Poor transfer policy is, or more to the point lack of transfer policy,

Take Ronaldo, great player but he doesn't fit in at United he doesn't work hard enough,

Take the midfield, they have too many similar players and not enough battlers,

They've spent loads on players, funded provided to them by the owners, they just haven't spent well

Interesting as I’d say that’s all Fred and McTominay are. I’d say they need some quality.
