    @TonyTonyTony so, if you had:

    - The best player in the Bundesliga

    - The best player in La Liga

    - Three of the European Champions first choice side

    - The premier leagues best young wide attacker (Saka)

    - The premier leagues second best DM (Rice)

…would you not think that there should be a reasonable debate that you should be winning the Euros? This isn’t saying Southgate’s bad. It’s saying that only probably France can compete with that resource wise, so it has to be looked at in the lens of what are reasonable expectations with that resource, as opposed to facepalms. Thats not really arguing a point…

None of that equates to automatically winning it does it? As you say, France has equal opportunity - there is never a divine right to win a trophy.

We have been in the mix in recent tournaments, and i expect we will be in the mix in the forthcoming Euros. I hope the gold dust of Bellingham takes us over the line.

Southgate has been a good manager for England - i don't see how anyone can argue against that.

Man United watching this and salivating at the prospect of having grey Gareth managing them soon.

If ever a manager's been carried along by the quality of his players, its this anorak. Leading in a World Cup semi final and blew it. Leading in a Euros final and blew it.

The blokes a chinless dork that says the right things and couldn't manage a w*nk in a sock.

Christ. Probably the worst post ever on here. Dont let stats get in your way…

Apparently Aaron Taylor - Johnson to be the new James Bond. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the character die a horrible death at the end of "No time to die"? Then they drank a toast to him after. That's going to be a bit awkward for them in the next film. I know quite a few actors have played the character over the years but it will be the first time after death!

Its fiction - they can do what they want.

Incorrect on #2 - I can't wait to flush the collected turds currently governing this country around the political U-bend.

100%. Ill be celebrating once the Tory Turds are flushed away

Manning is gutless.  Take some ‘ing responsibility man.  Every week it’s the same crap.  ‘No belief’?  I wonder why. ‘No quality’? I wonder why. ‘Lack of response to going behind’? I wonder why.  It’s you Manning. ‘Not lost the game because of your tactics’? Well guess what, we have and they are your tactics Manning.  And your ‘plan and pattern’ are complete and utter shite judging by what we have seen.

When are we going to hear him say I got it wrong? He’d get a modicum of respect if he did but he just cannot do it.  It’s a pathetic trait for a ‘leader’.

100% this. I thought LJ was bad at throwing his players under the bus, but this PE Teacher is even worse. Take some responsibility.

People who write or say RIP, when what they should be writing/saying is R.I.P.

This also applies to people who say “VAR” like it’s a word, when they should be spelling it out, as it’s three separate words.

We are still working, nothing was ever going to happen until cp7 which starts in April, its one of the projects that hasn't been cut so I'm expecting it all to start soon

I got a bit confused, as there was a flurry of activity marking drains in different colours around the current roundabout - that was ages ago. All the colours washed off now !

Think Noah's has to be an early contender for OTIB's restaurant of the year 🤣

I've been invited to the soft opening of this new Mexican place at the weekend. It's where Burger Joint used to be.

For me, fresh well sourced sea food always wins and they are not pretentious.

Look forward to your review Kid

Went to Noahs the other night. Missus had Fish and chips which was delicious (best, she reckoned, she had eaten other than up in Whitby), and i had a Monkfish tail on the bone. My god - so delicious and fresh. Just grilled with a garlicy pesto butter.

Hope they were not affected by the high tide yesterday. Really good joint and good value. 80 quid for 2 with drinks and nibbles/mains.

End of an era for Wales. I'm really excited to see what they build from here.

They have some very big shoes (boots) to fill. A big challenge for them to be honest

George North retiring after Saturday's game. Always thought he was a bit overrated TBH, Probably an unpopular opinion!

One of the most powerful players in the game, on his day. 40 odd international tries and 2 Lions tours.

He would have walked into any Northern Hemisphere team in his prime.

I absolutely WILL find fault with what they say, because the 3 clowns running the show are taking the piss out of us.

Its an unfortunate set of facts that :

    1) SL is getting old and has switched off from football

    2) JL is a lucky sperm. In another life he is a bin man

    3) BT is very ambitious and persuaded the above he is the man to lead is forward. “30 years” etc Clearly he is not the man. The interview tonight was embarrassing.

We are where we are, but the high level management of the club is a million miles away from where it should be.

    first 12:

    W7 D3 L2 Pts 24

first 17 before defeat v Cambridge

    W10 D4 L3 Pts 34

Anyone think he might’ve thought red was wins?

Fancy a role as Teknical director at BCFC dave? You’d get my vote tbh

  15. After reflecting a bit to that interview:

The bloke got triggered about the easiest questions that he must of seen coming. You could hear in his voice, with the rising tones at the end of his sentences, he was stressed. A classic flag to being under pressure tbh.

If you live in a culture where you are not regularly challenged about performance, you end up being Mediocre. Tonight Tinnion collapsed during a simple interview. That basically sums BCFC up at the moment.

He is waaaaay out of his depth, but we knew that anyway.

Get him back in the youth development, employ experience in the DOF/TD role and start again.

  16. He was very agitated at some of the questions wasn’t he?

He is in a very senior role - he should be expressing his opinion in a calm asserted manner not gibbering. Promoted way above his ability.

A voice expert would have a field day with that interview
