  1. Actually, we only led once against Sunderland...so it's not all that bad
  2. Summariser is pretty good, knowledgeable - talking about the under 18s/21s a lot so I guess he is one of the youth coaches. They do talk a bit too much though. Don't need to fill all the silence on a televised game unlike radio.
  3. Well, she did keep calling the match a 'face off' and referred to Steve Torpay. But I guess that's not what you were referring to! Haven't watched Robins TV before, what's downsy usually like? Did enjoy seeing highlights from a 'classic match' that wasn't recent. But that might only be because we don't beat them very often. I seem to recall a 5-2 home win under pulis? Akinbiyi scored shortly before he left?
  4. Great pass from scott. Nakhi clinical. Fair play to him, does a job when called upon. Sure it hasn't worked out for him here as he would've hoped
  5. Excellent find Full version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym7zAyruW0k Only ex City player on there Jon Stead? Could probably do a City version - Keith Millen, Sno....Massengo (let him go)... Danny Baker did something similar, but these guys can sing much better than him!
  6. He's not wrong - men's football is a man's game
  7. Captaining Burnley tonight. Let's hope he puts in a good performance for the cameras and somebody comes in with a large bid - if any clubs still employ that sort of scouting/transfer policy
  8. Thanks. It's been good looking through them seeing some of the games and players he mentioned to me over the years. I'm keeping the ones of personal significance - ticket stubs from the first one he took me to in 1999, and the last one in 2019. Two wins - a lot of defeats in between!
  9. Thanks everyone. Have sent some emails and a few have now been claimed Just did a bit more digging and found some more - he would have bought these as a collector as he was only born in 1959. 12. Hello reds My Dad, a life long City fan, passed away in December. I've been working through his collection of city programmes, books and other football magazines. Some really interesting/unusual finds - I had no idea we played Juventus in 1970. Anyone complaining about fixture congestion and long journeys for midweek away fixtures today clearly never had to deal with the anglo-scottish cup. Also found a 2006 academy handbook, with a team photo of the under 13s including a young Bobby Reid. I'm in the process of working out what to get rid of and what to keep, but if there is anything in the list below of interest to anyone then do get in touch and make me an offer. Likewise if anybody has any advice on good places to sell I'd be keen to hear from you.
