I only saw the goals first half. Watched the second half and I thought Atkinson and James were good. Huddersfield are the strongest team in the playoffs imo and if they get through I don't think they will be coming straight back down. We didn't play badly and had loads of possession, just that Huddersfield were expert in shutting us out.

Truly gutting for the lad. Thats next season done for him then. On the positive side, he's young, tremendously fit, and he has Weimann as a role model.

Nice to see Tanner on the bench. Nice to hear that Bentley is staying as well.

The one thing he didn't need to work on at all was his physicality, he can put himself around. 18 minute cameo against Brentford - put one player on his arse, scored, got booked for a foul. His fitness was an issue, big issue and his age meant he needed to catch up very quickly and he wasn't able to do that. NP is on record saying that we can't "store" players for too long (correctly so). But, FWIW, I don't think he was given enough attention/time, but time will tell.

Passed through the 10k barrier last week. I'd say around 12.5k - 13k is an easy target this season.

Agree re Owers, he is a very consistent player - 7/10 every game, which is what managers like. He's definitely got a future in the game imo. I was slightly disappointed with Conway and Sam Bell today, thought they could have produced a bit more than they did. Granted, Conway scored twice, but I just felt he had a lot more to give in his all round game. Same with Bell. Maybe I'm asking too much at this stage though.

Towler and Idehen outstanding today. Honourable mentions to Kadji and Zac Bell.

What has happened to Janneh ? I was hoping to see a bit of pace and direct running from him, but he's given the ball away every time (other than his tap in). Maybe he's short of match practice having only started one game for Shrewsbury and eleven subs. Impressed with Towlers long passing, finding his man with 40yd diagonals.

Possibly because Jay Dasilva is in form and playing well ? NP dispelled any conspiracy theories in his Hull interview. But he should be on the bench, crazy not to have him in the 18 imo.

Deaf ears mate. Bloke in the pub last night (gashead) was saying we would have been relegated if not for the points deductions of Reading and Derby. Idiot ignored the fact that we'd have still finished above Barnsley, Peterborough, Reading, Birmingham, Cardiff, Hull, and possibly Derby as well depending on the last games. I pointed that out and his response was "maybe, but City were the worst team in the division". I gave up at that point. Yeah, most of the season was disappointing, but not as crap as some make out. Looking forward to next season already and hopefully seeing Alex Scott develop more.

Easy game for him, but he was a class up on most of the shite we've had this season.

I'm not a great Vyner fan, but he is 100% better than Bell in that position. As for Hunt, should never have let him go imo. Said it was a mistake at the time and we've struggled ever since.
