  1. Our old floodlights were gifted to Wigan in 1992. As per the Official Site (you reading this @Robbored).
  2. All three have big futures. But I tend to agree that there is still a lot to come from Massengo, he's still learning and the other two, in my opinion, are developing quicker than him. By the end of this season, I'd expect Semenyo and Scott to command a higher fee. Hope we fight to keep the three of them and show a bit of intent for a change.

  4. Nice words and insights regarding the AG8 from Ian and Dave.
  5. Swansea game isn't showing a booking ? Edit - check and he was booked in the 94th minute so yes, 6 bookings.
  6. Trying not to be picky, but Ian said Williams is getting booked every game and has 6 so far and has four games before he gets a ban. According to Transfermarkt he's had 13 games and been booked 5 times this season.
  7. I saw Weimann struggling at one point, but he seemed to finish the game strongly, still running. Probably jogged home, then took the dog out for a run. NP seems to reward good performances so he may well select Bell again if it isn't too soon for him. It may be too much to expect 90 minutes from Williams on Tuesday, maybe the last 30 minutes or so. Whatever, I'd like to see Pring retained on the left.

    I make it 5th top scorers ?
  9. He gave us 6 free kicks and them 20.
  10. He got us up the pitch. Really good to watch when he puts the after burners on.
  11. We had that with Pring and now with Massengo, they are both young players and it will happen - once. Thats Massengo's mistake out of the way, I'm pretty sure he won't do it again.

Yep, finally got on from Japan - just as Weimann scored.
  13. When I saw the team I feared the worst and thought we could get hammered and said so earlier in the thread. I suppose we did in terms of possession, but in terms of commitment, application, and sheer effort, we were excellent. Great win, four on the spin at home.
  14. I'd swap Bell with Weimann. Scott wasted in that square hole.
  15. Looks a bit weak and round pegs in square holes. Not at all confident going into this game, can see us getting stuffed tbh. Can see changes at HT or before.
  16. I think 10 of those are nailed on to start as they've all been playing ok (Pring maybe a couple of poor decisions lately and Bentley just back), not sure about Cundy though and also not sure if it will be three or four at the back. Maybe move Pring forward if its a back three. If its a back four I've no problem at all with Kalas as right back. Harsh on Dasilva despite his mistakes lately, he's done ok for a left hooker playing on the right but Kalas is a better option imo. NP did allude to an "interesting" line up but there isn't a lot he can do to make it interesting imo. Maybe sticking Cundy in the team and Kalas right back is the interesting bit ?
  17. GMG says he will be uploading the interview in its entirety later today/tomorrow.
  18. And if he's sacked we'll be set back another 3 years. Wouldn't surprise me.
  19. I've actually been quite supportive of JL in the past. But he's had a nightmare in what he said. There is much much more support for NP than him, but we all know that the Lansdowns have a very thin skin. NP needs to watch his back imo.
  20. If JL thinks we should be doing better, he is is not in touch with just about evryone in the club and its supporters imo. I'm firmly in the football mans camp - Nigel Pearson. Butt out Jon.

  22. IMO Reading, man for man, have better players than Peterborough and a much better squad. But Peterborough have a bit of spirit and heart about them, which is lacking in Reading - I can't see that saving Peterborough though.
  23. He's playing in midfield lately isn't he ?
  24. Jon Lansdown - taking the heat off Zak Vyner.
  25. Tough choices.. Derby v Peterborough saturday as well. Posh to win both would be good...won't happen though.
