  1. Dear lord! This is why anyone on here reserves the right to be critical of the team/ manager/ players/ board of bristol city,,, anyone who is still here after decades of watching us balls it up has earned the right to be fed up with it all!
  2. You would think that with mehmeti signing, owura will be moved on at some point. Hopefully he goes on to a decent career
  3. Why are clubs limiting away allocations at the moment? How many tickets did we get for watford?? Their away end is a decent enough size if they let people pay on the day they might get a few more turn up?
  4. Bearing in mind dortmunds record of buying in young players, including bellingham from the championship, id be surprised if they didnt know every member of that england youth team? Id like to see scott go there too!
  5. Would be great if he wins it!
  6. It’s so tight at the bottom that surely a win or 2 could save them?
  7. Have to agree, clearly has a nice touch, but gets beaten in the air, has no goal threat and costs too much. Another poor purchase who needs to be off the wage bill!
  8. You really are in love with him arent you? anyway, great stuff, and unexpected
  9. Yeah how much have we spent paying him off and bringing cornick in? Can anyone tell me who we have got who likes winning headers and likes a battle?
  10. Im inclined to agree, obviously bell and conway have played together for years, so giving them a game in the first team might be interesting to see how they get on though. With conways finishing though, you would think that mehmeti creating chances would be a no brainer
  11. My other half is a stokie too… like the friend mentioned in the original post, im expecting a good hiding today for us…. as for the stoke is a shit hole stuff, yes it has rough parts, but id swap the wEdgwood estate and trentham estate for southmead any day!
  12. Never been to home park but i always envision tommy tynan scoring against us when i think of plymouth,, a devon david kelly!
  13. Drove past the new stadium today on a chill day in liverpool,, it will be sensational,, they might be relegated, though i think that’s unlikely now dyche is in, but they will always find a new owner, and with 50000 fans in that stadium they will be in premier league sooner or later
  14. Well it happened playing for england and was reported independently, seems unlikely we are embellishing anything?
  15. Maybe a third? Im not sure he will get a premier league move, though a newly promoted club could do worse, but surely he would have his pick of championship clubs? Im not sure that money would be the sole motivation though, which is why we might have a chance?
  16. I think that just because of the way he has played the game he isnt destined for a long career into this mid 30s… the year out injured must mean offering another multiple year contract is a big risk, and he would still be a top earner even if his salary was cut in half. Im not sure he would make the difference for us in the championship if he played every game. For me he ought to be released,,, and dasilva too
  17. I was thinking that as i was typing it… conway is great, but it remains to be seen whether he is the international goal scorer scotland need?!
  18. Great result, the scots must have half their team playing in the english premier. You know they will have passion as well, it they could find themselves a goal scorer they would be decent.
  19. Pring has a lot of qualities, but just doesnt have the goal threat or ability on the ball of bryan. Both players lining up on the left for us would be very strong though,, perhaps a salary similar to what dasilva has been earning might be enough to cover bryans cost of living after his fulham salary over the last few years?
  20. Yes, was it luton at home? Or cov? Hes not the biggest or most physical so while its good that he sticks up for himself that will be 7 games worth of bans hes picked up this season,,, its something he can work on?!
  21. Oh yes, hopefully the secret contractual obligation still stands despite them having 73 new managers and a new owner since the deal was done!
  22. Yes, we ought to know better by now what might happen.. unless theres a free agent available cheap?
  23. Yes that compensation calculation is the way I understood it worked too. i dunno,, hnm has made a good living, but also, his physicality from growing up in the championship will have improved substantially and will have set him up for a good career im the european leagues.. apart from the last 6 months he probably doesn’t have too many complaints?!
  24. By all rights that should mean an increase to his compensation fee,,, that transfer has been a shocking waste of time and money for us… again….
