They are all playing in second gear, tunisia not offering a lot, it seems its mostly at walking pace. Scott always neat and tidy and drawing fouls.
-
Indeed, theres definitely some banter going on with those fans to the right of the tunnel as they are going off..
-
Yes, he doesnt mind a bit of aggro!
-
There is some suspect tackling going in from tunisia lot, and some of them are big lads! Seems like scott was riling someone up on the side while celebrating the goal too?! Wouldnt be surprised if the local support is not with england!

Im not sure we would, or should be spending a million on a project left back from lthe lower leagues? 300k for tanner was a punt worth taking, but thats a lot of money, especially if bryan does sign,,, that could be used for centre backs instead! -

It got a bit shaky when geoff used the can you challenge for the play offs in your last season line, that would have led to someone being called an ostrich or something similar in years gone by! -
Eliasson next season

True enough!!! Hes been found out though, hes on the downward slope now. -
What will be the expectations for next season?

Totally agree re recruitment,, but when we lose a once a generation youth player like scott, assuming that does happen, its tough to see how we will also pull in an extra 15 points this season… if can get in those 4/5 playoff level new signings, like bryan would be, that ought to give us a big lift!? -

30 years or so of SL, and we are no closer to promotion now than we have been since the 70s, the only way we are going up is to have a new owner come and throw money at it… -
I get it, but he hasnt been worth the transfer fee or wages overall as far as i can see. I think he would do well in a European league somewhere, extending kalas at this point it seems to me will only end up being another big contract with not a lot of benefit on the pitch?
-
I think ive seen nick powell is to be released by stoke. Unquestionably talented in the championship, but not sure his injury record, plus possible attitude and wage demands would put him anywhere near our radar?!

Is there any reason why this cant be announced at any time if hes out if contract? Its clear to me that if this signing happens that this will be marketed as the return of the prodigal son and will be used to sweeten the fan base for when scott leaves! -
This may turn out to be correct, but i tend to go with the robbored believe it when its on the website view with this sort of thing,, there will be multiple stories in the media every week about this transfer, this one might just be another. there must be 15 likely destinations for scott available on line, not all of them can be correct, but they will have got a load of clicks
-
Id enjoy that!

Why wound we sign a high end championship left footed left sided player and look to play him defensive central midfield? -
Just woken up this morning to see this news,, not a good look at all, im sure someone in the club has been unfortunately duped rather than someone deliberately supporting this? https://m.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/bristol-city-fc-apologise-for-message-celebrating-michael-stone-beating-milltown-3-0/1464101728.html

Nice one, ipswich have always been a good club, certainly since the robson days, im sure you will understand though that theres ill feeling on here about your ceo! im actually surprised we finished well clear of relegation, and the days of no shots on target seem over, plus its always great to see young lads come in and be a clear step up on the mercanaries weve signed over the last 5 years or so. Once the kalas and dasilva contracts are off the books, plus a few others, we can hopefully see some decent recruitment… will it be enough to push us to the playoffs? No idea, history says probably not!
