From what I’ve watched Palmer-Holden has all the traits to be a very good back to goal striker. Brilliant hold up play through smart use of the body, hopefully he will get a look in next season. More good work from the academy

Couple signings with good final ball ability and composure in and around the box and I think we could do some serious damage. Let’s hope someone comes in before 1st of feb!

Alonso or De Zerbi would be my first guesses as a replacement, would give me a right giggle if they went and got Gerard in though!

Gives off similar vibes to Peter crouch I feel, when you look at him you just don’t expect him to be good at football which is probably why many of his transfers have been deemed “underwhelming”. But quite easily one of my favourite players for city, absolute hero.

Cant see more then 4 points for us here, beat one and draw with one of Middlesborough/Coventry. Hopefully we get a win against Coventry and that gives us some momentum going into the leeds game at home and then who knows.

Screamed of someone who still needs to learn his teammates imo. A number of times he passed it behind a player predicting they would come short for the ball and they didn’t. Also tried to slip players behind the defense when they weren’t making the run.

Think this is another indicator of the team/manning forcing a certain style of play, where either the situation or the players don’t suit it. I quite like Manning but for someone who bangs on about “control” every interview we sure love to hoof it to the wings pretty early into possession without looking for better options.

Don’t understand hating the one chant that generates any kind of decent atmosphere that we have? Complain about the stadium layout and how section 82s in the corner, then complain about all the chants we have being “cringeworthy”? Maybe instead of getting annoyed over a few 11yr olds jumping up and down maybe try to help facilitate a decent atmosphere.

Alex in some ways, TGH in others. Hard to describe why, but almost looks effortless to keep the ball under control, totally composed with it at his feet if that makes sense.

Anyone else think he “glides” with the ball like a certain someone. Might not replicate it in a match but he looks quite the twinkle toes in those clips.
