Nah he's had enough chances, under two managers and two systems. He's not it.

Mehmeti is consistent. He consistently tries to bite off more than he can chew, do everything himself, and in doing so he consistently sabotages our few attacks.

Could’ve easily said the same about Semenyo before he came good. I still think he has the assets to be brilliant for us. But can understand your point and it does do my head in as well when he cuts back about 4 times before passing.

Mehmeti worries me here. This is a game for discipline. Him in front of Roberts? That is our weakness right there for a team that kills teams down the flanks. Happy for Anis to have a stormer tracking back and winning tackles.

Tbf they combined brilliantly against oxford in the Cup, all be it against league one opposition but it’s been a pairing i’ve wanted to see more of all year.

Just think he has too many mistakes in him, or used to , maybe he’s better now I’ve not seen him play for a while .

He was arguably the best centre back in europe last year.

I'd be amazed if he played for any of the top teams. A West Ham Brighton or a Wolves is far more likely.

It’s hard to put value on natural assets though. Antoines pace and power is rare to find, especially with the technical ability alongside it. He definitely needs to add more chance creation to his game, is a bit of a cut in and shoot merchant at times.

But that can all be worked on, the best example of someone who has his natural traits and the technicals he needs is Rafael Leao. Thought of as one of the best wingers in europe.

Not saying he will get to that level but i don’t see a reason why Antoine can’t be playing for a top 6 side in a few years time. With the speed of attacking play I think he would be a shoe in at spurs personally.

Been done to death on here but the locating of fans after the renovation was handled extremely poorly by the club.

That was the golden opportunity to really make the South stand a proper home end. The middle two or three blocks should have been made unreserved seating like the old EE was and familys and people who want to sit in silence (seems like the vast majority in the SS from what i've seen) should never have been located there in the first place.

Vast majority in the ground tbf.

The football on display is a factor but the current location of s82 doesn’t make creating an atmosphere impossible. Not in the slightest. I could sit here and rattle off games where the atmospheres been very good as easily as people can rattle off games where it’s been nonexistent.

If you sit in the singing section, call yourself section 82 and have the arrogance to demand to be relocated at the expense of other season ticket holders at least prove you deserve it. You choose to sit in the “singing section” so fking sing imo.

Steve was pre game interview with Geoff Twentyman.

Before the Burnley game April 2023. Other than that the somewhat rambling aside to BBC Guernsey about the Scott fee, nest eggs  Luton etc but that was s small part of his overall piece which wasn't City related or aimed at us anyway.

You’d think after the year we’ve had, most liked manager in almost a decade sacked, underperforming replacement, academy in youth cup SF, good first team cup run, 10 points behind season objective (according to JL) and 30m in the bank with barely any spent he’d of made some sort of communication.

It really is laughable at this point.

  7. I think Tins also takes a lot of the flack and anger from fans as he’s the only staff member above LM thats visible.

JL last talked about city in what october? Pretty sure Gavin had an interview around then as well. Steve? cant for the life of me remember the last time he talked about city through city channels.

Brian’s there, he’s on SOTC he’s at games so people finally have a person to share their concerns or more likely shout their abuse at.

Similar to the start of the season when all the frustrations over the lack of investment post scott sale were aimed at Pearson, who quite rightly replied “why the hell are you asking me?”.
