If we had a disaster of a manger before I could be a bit more excited about this.. but all of this for Liam Manning seems very Lansdown.. felt like we’ve been here before and fully expect this to be another chapter of the merry go round .. hope this post get quoted by loads of people when we finish 10 points clear next season of course.

Exactly this … if he walked I’d imagine it would’ve had a serious effect on the compensation for getting his marching orders before his contract was out.

Get promoted.

Not allow any players to get injured.

Play attractive football.

Never disagree with the hierarchy. 

Do all this this season.

To be honest, if they did all that, I'd be delighted and I might even hold my hands up and say maybe the club got it right and we got it wrong. But there are a lot of "ifs" there and, now they've set out the terms the new manager has to succeed on, they don't have a lot of room to justify themselves if those four things don't happen 

Exactly what I was thinking. The next man has no room for error. They are setting him up to fail with these comments. 
 

If we had a history of getting at least a couple of these decisions right you could back them a little…. but we have been treading water for years now and will be for the rest of my life it seems . Let us have one spell in the top flight I beg. 

Sorry guys just so I’m clear what we think happened. Nige and Tinnion have had a fall out behind the scenes… all started to get sour. And we chose the side of someone who failed as a manager vs someone who is Proven to have built squads, got promoted and managed in the top flight. 

Know it’s never as black and white as that but if this decision was made for “progressive” reasons.. why is the old boys club more important

It’s tricky because it was hit hard and he made himself big… but he almost would have saved it if he stayed still. Bit harsh maybe but every week atm he seems to be brought up about a goal and that can’t be a coincidence. Doesn’t have much of a presence and doesn’t fill me with much confidence I have to say. Also his distribution has been shocking recently in my opinion. 
 

Was great against Leicester the other week so he has it in him.

To be honest .. apart from mark carter on twitter (if you know you know) I think this is the most one side argument I’ve seen from City fans. Very pro Nige. Hopefully the message gets through and we don’t get another Lansdown yes man through the door.
