If the normal badge was on the front of the third kit, and the ‘Robin’ on the back, would people be happy with it?
Personally yes .. but if they took the thing off altogether that would be perfect

Also just reading the comments on the twitter post announcing its up for sale. This may be the most unanimous comments section I’ve ever seen. Have us City fans agreed on anything more ever haha. Apart from Diony and Marinovic being club legends

You seen one of the most reasonable people on here @Davefevs
even you must think this is poor

They gunna put this awful splat robin on the front of everything are they.. it’s literally a trace of a stock image.
Thought the club wanted to act Premier League ready with everything in place but the football on the pitch.
Realistically none of us will care about this if we go up.. but these kits/training gear have all been embarrassing so far. Mind blowing that a club as big as ours could look so Sunday league

Looks a bit crap to me. Doesn’t screen “Hummel Classic” imho.
Never a fan of v necks like that.. round/crew collar looks way better in my opinion

That’s my view too….the kit / colour etc is fine…put the round badge on the front, stick the Robin below the neck nice on the back and it’s a decent enough 3rd kit imho.
Or even our actual robin from the middle of the new crest by itself if thats the look they wanted. That clip art ruins quite a cool shirt really

Maybe we will see us reignite interest in Currie then. More potential for punnery too.
With regards to Bryan, I would have liked to have seen him back but don't see this as the end of the world. I didn't really see him as fitting the mould of what we need and I am not convinced he is the Central Midfielder that a lot on here seem to think he is.
Agree on Bryan … didn’t think it was super necessary to get him when one of our best performers last season has his position at the moment.. Pring was my player of the season after Scott… but like everyone else I thought **** it it’s Joe Bryan
This young lad from Brighton may fit what we need way more. Happy to develop and fight for his place with potential to be sold on for a higher fee if that development works out… over someone who will be looking to play first team value with a very small sell on value.

I quite like the flying Robin, but it ain't our badge. Stick it on the casual wear, fine, but not on the front of the shirt.
There’s a few people with this opinion to be fair … personally maybe on the kids stuff… but I think it’s awful

Swap the robin for the normal badge and it's a fine kit honestly.
If i'm honest I agree with this... that robin is just the worst thing we have ever had on a kit haahah

You clearly never saw the all green kit at west ham, c.1994
Or the Auto Leyland pizza vans paint final one against Stoke, gold and blue
Or the champagne one in the noughties
Remember that champagne kit... not what I refer to it as though!

Third kit I think, could be wrong tho.
Yeah the third kit .. now also known as the “Robin Kit” .. has been for the last few years I think… this is why we have that stock image of the robin on the front also.
excited to see this away kit though to be honest… see if they can out do that yellow one in the worst we have ever had

Barnsley kit is nice… love a simple puma kit like that rather than the rags we have now

Apologies for my quick screenshot and post.. looking back at this I can see how far off it is ahahahaha

Wasn't the other brand in contention for us Castore... their stuff is really nice in my opinion... love what they did with Charlton's stuff since they left Hummel.. would be my choice for sure

Will come down to money in the end.. so it will just be down to if we are just a the vocal minority who care or if this is the real feeling of all of the fan base. Saw quite a few new shirts on people at the Burnley game.. Hopefully the sales are low enough to make the club move to a proper supplier. Would someone like New Balance or Macron. Anyone else

Hummel’s kits were imo the best we have had for years. Decent quality and some really nice personalised touches, the tribute to the Ashton Gate 8 on the back of the home shirt a couple of seasons back was class.
It’s looking like a real blunder for the club getting O’neills in, your hoping no long term contract was signer and we can look to replace them for the 24/25 season.
That first Hummel home shirt with the AG8 tributes was the best we've had for years... Loved the Puma training/leisure wear though

If you look back through this thread, you’ll see responses from those with knowledge, that this was in plan well before Phil Alexander was onboard (even in handover mode) and firmly in the remit of our a chairman who is really more Creative Director than Chairman.
Ah I see.. and yeah I don't doubt that this is JL's handy work.. looks a lot like a JL move doesn't it.
(but don't blame me for not trusting the OTIB ITK's... learnt that over years hahah)

Honest question... why design a completely new robin and before using on a kit.. trace over a clip art robin and use that.
