  1. Struggling to help there icman - Weird that his name is as synonymous with City for me as much as Garland , Gow or Cheese - , not for his short career at city , but purely because of that first game
  2. He’s worked hard and had a decent game Dont know whether it’s my eyes but it looks like he’s put on a slight bit of upper body bulk and strength
  3. Scored two goals ( out of about four he scored in total for us !) in the first game I can recall at the Gate , V Watford
  4. No going to get embroiled in that debate , again I thought this was about Jack Hunt Not keeping a player on good wages , whose not taking you forward is a sensible decision Difficulty in a replacement doesn’t make it a bad one , and let’s see how Tanner develops
  5. He was ‘ok’ had some frailties but always committed - we’ve had a lot worse But was time to move in IMHO
  6. Agree - but I’d be lining him up
  7. Agree The current Man City & Liverpool are the best two sides I’ve seen in top flight Frightening thing is both are likely to strengthen !
  8. Definitely need pace and try and exploit their high line
  9. I’d really like to see the FA ask Klopp if he fancied the England job , and a long contract , when he’s done at Liverpool
  10. Strengthen whilst you are in good shape - Was always behind their success in 70s / 80s You can soak up the odd one that doesn’t quite hit the standards and it gives you time to integrate the ones that do
  11. Np He’s probably good enough to play there ! or certainly part as a front 3 and is a decent finisher But he’d be wasted there tbh , his all round game , his tacking passing , athleticism and drive , best utilised in the engine room Him and Foden are the best we’ve had since Gascogne
  12. Ha ha Thiago reminds me , when playing local football , of a player you’d occasionally encounter in opposition who was in his 40s , but had played at a much higher level and totally ran the game , at a stroll , hardly breaking sweat ! ?
  13. He’s a box to box midfielder With their excellent recruitment ahead of the curve (They sign Diaz and Jota as ready replacements / supplements for Sakah /Firmino for example) - I look at their squad and think where can he look to bolster / upgrade with future in mind Bellngham would be perfect (Mind you be would be a great acquisition for anyone)
  14. Jude Bellingham would be the next great signing for this Liverpool side
  15. So many threats in this Liverpool side - I’m not sure quite how you stop them Love watching them and Man City , And would make for a brilliant Final Fractionally easier to stop Man City than Liverpool ?
  16. Awful ITN - Thoughts with you and strength to you ?????? You will win ??
  17. Was one of a few brothers IIRC , all excellent footballers - Saw a lot of Falmouth around that time as we lived in Taunton then moved to Perran-At-Worthal The standard of the Western League when Taunton , Falmouth , Bridgewater were at each other , was fantastic when we couldn’t get to City - some of my favourite memories
  18. Blimey , there’s a name that I haven’t seen for a while Remember him in his early days as an ace marksman for Falmouth Town when they used to battle Taunton for the Western League Title (Was a cracking standard then)
  19. IIRC Mihai is Rumanian and started to support us after winning some money in a et involving us , used to post quite regularly Good to see you posting @Mihai
  20. Love it Cardiff a fantastic day out Go Woofy ??????
