There was always a widespread belief in the game , coming from those involved that players , largely ‘played for the manager’ Its not quite as simple as that but Just saying

Tbf Its partly really amusing when considering all those that whined and demanded this I did say some deserved L1

Inside knowledge of what possibly ? What , that would show , that’s not already visible or tangible about what they’ve done for this Club ?

It was slightly bizarre Spud because what he actually said was that it was their (coaching staff) work with the players that got them (the players) into the final third and then it is for players to show bravery and ingenuity etc at that point So taking credit for the ability (depending on your view whether that’s accurate) to play through the thirds but distancing himself from the ability to create chances and score goals

Surely, BT in particular is who ‘around’ , and out and about locally is almost certainly going to feel some heat or the current mood Going by their stuttering , blustering and BTs visible blood pressure , to the post NP sacking period I’m not sure they are going to feel very comfortable right at the present time. Unforunately that resolves zilch

And the signs of ‘damage’ are looking more widespread and far reaching than the current run if results I’m particularly thinking of things like Players contentment , likely overhaul , and overall feel at the Club generally
