  1. I did notice on Lutons forum during the week comments about his ‘regular clangers’ He’s a footballer rather than a defender Theres an upside (Many have commented on) (There’s definite pluses in him) and downside to that and we either accept there’s a pay off or we dont On a perfect world he’d make the correct decision and execute perfectly every time and there would be no pay off just overwhelming plusses But then again he’d be in the Prem That's not an excuse for poor decision making / mistakes , and something he clearly needs to work on , But , being realistic he does seem to be that sort of player But needs to minimise as many mistakes as possible
  2. I’m with you %100 Fordy (And I drunk half your pint bringing it back from the bar ??)
  3. I think the issue is , with lots of good things to discuss or debate , your previous thread you started was negative regarding the substitutions after the win against Luton In between its been criticism of various tactical decisions , particularly using Scott at RWB I stand to be corrected but I’m struggling to recall a thread of positivity Even your recent non critical comments come across ‘begrudgingly’ I find it strange , especially with the positive work you are doing with the scouting You wont like it , but I wont be alone in thinking you did and have come across as extremely protective of everything LJ and now as someone (at best), ‘reluctant to accept’ Pearson , highlighting only (perceived) negatives
  4. Despite the poor tactical decisions and clueless substitutions , we are four games unbeaten Two away draws at places we’ve regularly capitulated , and two home wins #Crisis
  5. Twice And we only gave the lead away Once So a positive outcome Nothing to see here
  6. As I posted If we were conceding first , those so inclined would be saying ’We can’t keep giving sides a goal start’
  7. His movement in a number of aspects is very very good , something you could see at U23 level, but he’s causing problems to Championship defenders Not just his movement - has a very good touch (eg The instant kill of the ball on Weds night after Antoine closing down / challenge was top drawer)
  8. Tell you what I found frustrating Throwing away points and going on losing runs during the era of missed opportunity when we were spending money like Monopoly money and collecting players, many never used , like a stamp collection
  9. We’ve scored in every game this season
  10. Stelling just said Stole asked Holden to take charge today , which he did , and they win 1-0 at Blackburn Immediately after the game he loses his job !
  11. And instead of being a positive that save today we’ve taken the lead in each game Some would be saying ‘We can’t keep giving sides a goal start’
  12. Whoever it was , it was a major step backwards Pearson Out
  13. Frustrating , defensively and to chuck away 2 points , but a draw at Blackpool , twice coming from behind really isn’t any great disaster We are a work in progress but have some good things brewing
  14. The ‘big backward step’ comment is complete nonsense whatever the final score
  15. If anyone has any sympathy for Bournemouth I give you .... Ben Pearson
  16. Scott Parker won’t be his usual happy bubbly self later
  17. Josh scored one and set up another for Burnley Get those bids in rich boys
  18. Why are so many watching on streams - I guess you don’t have Sky Red Button ?
  19. Blimey - sounds like we are very lucky not to be four down
