  1. I like the new Deepbass album. https://informarecords.bandcamp.com/album/inward-lp-informa017
  2. Suggesting it's not shite now? (Ordered one hope it's a success)
  3. You don't have any right to be disappointed with her. Firstly it's not really anyone's business and I think others have explained the complexities of abuse like this. I don't think you are doing this, but this is the sort of stuff that is pointed out by people trying to undermine survivors/victims of abuse including rape. Lawyers especially are all over it. These cycles can take lots of support and time to be broken especially the longer they have gone on.
  4. I've had stuff disrupted too, but in the current climate especially supporting workers to fight for fair terms is vital and strike action is the last resort. It was a pointless dig at workers in a thread that is totally unrelated.
  5. They aren't on strike just to piss people off.
  6. It's a pub right at the heart of BS3 and has a connection to City fans. Seemed pretty obvious to me.
  7. Nice post thanks. Like your stuff on YouTube too.
  8. Posted a thread but I have a ticket in the Dolman someone can have for free as I can't got. Send me a PM and I can email it over to you! Hope it's a good one today.
  9. Not sure if posts like this are allowed so sorry in advance mods feel free to close. I can't go today and have a ticket for Block E28 in the Dolman. You can have it for free just send me a PM first.
  10. Just got home can't find it on the now TV app.
  11. In the world of football it's nothing, but a very comfortable wage generally.
  12. So sad to hear. Great player from my youth. I'm sure the clubs will do something!
  13. I know Robbored likes to trot out that Gary Johnson must be a conference managed as that is where he is now. Like some sort of "gotcha" because of a stupid thread he made 15 odd years ago that backfired as we earned promotion and then got us to a play off final in the Championship. Most managers do drop off after they reach their peak. Some keep going around various clubs due to their name (Bruce), or because they have a particular skill (Warnock). Lots stop managing and fade into the background, or they do what Johnson has eventually done and drop back down to lower levels. I think the only reason Johnson is a conference manager now is because he loves managing, and Torquay are a great club in a nice area of the UK so why wouldn't he want to carry on? He could have dropped off as so many managers do when their offers dry up at league level and especially when he became unwell. People can have their views and some good points have been made about what went wrong for Johnson here in the end. I think most of us just find it quite sad that a man in his 70's still hasn't let go of being embarrassed all that time ago and has to double down on his views at every chance he gets. I don't really like the phrase living rent free in someone's head, but if it was ever created for someone it would be GJ in Robboreds head. Personally think he's best ignored as he was 15 years ago.
  14. Dele Ali has had a good first half to his career and reach heights that Palmer could only dream of so far. Was a strange signing for Coventry really. I could see why we signed him at the time, but not for the money that was paid and given to him.
  15. Thought his short interview was good on Wednesday. Acknowledged that it's been tough and he's had to get his head down and owes fans performances. Thought he came across well and ultimately he can't control the stupid money that has been thrown around at this level. Hope he can continue this form.
  16. Took me ages to figure that out. Was thinking is it the time, or odds, neither of which made sense. Then I remembered it was Stone Colds thing.
  17. First time I've seen him live as I've been away for some time, but I won't make the mistake of thinking he should pass again.
  18. I was screaming in my head for him to do that and how wrong I was.
  19. Mixed performance, but enjoyable night tonight. Internally I was screaming at Semenyo to pass it across the box and then he pulled that out. Glad we scored when we did as it was starting to look shaky . Agree with the person who commented about us having to play a higher line as we can't deal with the press when we sink back - at least that's my observation having seen us against Sunderland too. Against clinical teams we may come unstuck. Thought Wells played really well up top too.
  20. That was a really nice piece I thought definitely worth watching. That was a really nice piece I thought definitely worth watching.
  21. I'm not sure on this either. Ultimately they would have been aiming for promotion in that division and it was a great turn around for them, but that hid an otherwise unconvincing season. If he wasn't well known, and used to play in the lower divisions, I suspect most would be pretty underwhelmed if he was appointed at championship level. Not surprised he's been sacked as Stoke fans I knew had enough last year. Not sure on doing it with the window just closing though.
  22. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink - Burton Manager. Sorry was being lazy.
  23. Definitely agree about the press in the second half it absolutely killed us and we had no answer to it.
  24. Reckon JFH could be on his way soon. They weren't very happy with him last year.
