  1. You did well to see it for someone who watched Liverpool.
  2. How bizarre, I mean who could see that coming.... It's about getting money in and nothing else. I wonder if the Council workers still exempt regardless of their emissions..
  3. Ordered - just one point, it may be worth showing the price including delivery on the homepage, as it initially looks like it's free delivery, as it doesn't get added until making payment.
  4. I only managed to access it after reading how to do it on here, why they would change a simple menu is beyond me. Trying to explain to my old man was as painful as the awful cameraman and commentary for the Luton game.
  5. The only issue with the Blue few is how would they even turnover all of the cash to clean it up? I expect the Casino in Ozark would turn over in one evening the same as Rovers turn over in a season. I guess the Sags could say they sold more out of date crisps and fake Fanta and fake a few invoices and receipts,, and they could also sell a few thousand imaginary season tickets due to their shit crowds. Other than that I think they would be stumped as a money laundering operation!!
  6. Even if they stay up, it will be the same again next season. If they have a decent season next season and even manage to get in the top half, they will no doubt have a load of loanees again that will all be gone at the end of the season. All of this whilst still losing a fortune, without making decent profits on players (unless they shock us all), and all in a crumbling dump with rubbish aging crowds. Where do they get their deluded expectations from?
  7. Which still wouldn't matter in this case as tickets made it to general sale in the first allocation.
  8. Completely different scenario, and if you cannot admit that then you definitely are not ligical. These Birmingham tickets were on sale for DAYS - they even made it to GENERAL SALE. You have absolutely nobody to blame bar yourself for not getting one in the first place.
  9. This really should be the end of any argument of not securing a Birmingham away ticket. Nobody to blame bar himself on this game whatsoever.
  10. How many season ticket holders do we have? How many of them do you think wanted to go to a nice trip to Bournemouth? There would have been loads of people who didn't get Bournemouth tickets who wanted them, unsure why you seem to think it's some sort of conspiracy against you. Whenever me or a friend book away tickets you have to be organised to a degree. Are you actually having a go at people for organising themselves to get tickets, on the basis you cannot organise yourself? If we go away there are usually 4 of us, so of course you want to get 4 tickets together. Or do you expect families and/or friends to be split up in the ground?
  11. @Logical-City I'd like to know how you being a season ticket holder, has somehow made it to make you (and only you) have zero chance of getting a ticket for Birmingham away? You then mention they should go on general sale? Why should anyone who hasn't been all season be able to snap one up in front of a more loyal supporter who has gone to more games? The tickets weren't sold out in seconds, it wasn't some superstar concert. If you cannot get online for a few minutes to easily secure your away ticket, then how can you manage to travel from Weston to queue up for hours?
  12. Also saying he had to stop Al Quidi spending too much money on players in one interview. So if he wasn't getting the players back, then why hadn't he identified adequate replacements seeing as they have all this dosh sloshing around - even though the other night he was moaning they can't compete with the top teams. I wish he'd make his mind up on multiple issues. A cynic may say he has been telling porkies on purpose..... Yet they all seem to fall for it.
  13. Given their status as loan players it's seems perhaps a touch naïve for the Rovers manager to have pinned hopes for 2022/23 on individuals who aren't contracted at the club, but Barton's belief they would come back indicates it was a genuine possibility, Genuine possibility, just because he believes it? He's valuing Anderson at £15/£16 million quid, yet was expecting him to rock up in League One for another season!! What utter nonsense. The whole article just shows how delusional he is, and how he changes his tune by the day depending on every single event that happens.
  14. Yes we could freshen up, and I'd imagine 2/3 changes. I personally wouldn't want to see too many but guess that is down to the coaches and fitness team. Also one positive, is after Burnley we don't have a game for a couple of weeks, which may help pushing a few players due to the break?
  15. Saturday is the big worry for me (more so than before last nights game). Simply down to all the travel, quick turnaround, Burnley having an extra days rest and the amount of energy that went into that performance last night, I really hope we can compete with the same energy levels etc, but am just fearful we may chuck in a poor one. I really hope I am wrong.
  16. In the last few years they would have done more than hid away, they would have crumbled and we could have been on the end of a 5 or 6. After pretty much being down and out after the mistakes, the attitude, energy, belief and commitment shone through, and the performance after the mistakes was really exceptional imo. Also it was against a side who will probably be promoted this season, and on their own patch. My worry now is the recovery for Saturday, and we may not see the same sort of levels. I am really hoping they can come close to repeating the energy levels of last night, but I am more fearful than last night.
  17. It does look like a dive without any slow mo, but you'd have to think he's caught him (even slightly) as there is just no point to go down there when 2 up and in injury time? As for Joey saying anyone has thrown themselves to the floor, Marquis done it twice a few games ago and was clutching his face not once but twice, trying to get an opposition player sent off. One of those he was doing an impression of Neymar it was that ridiculous. I'm afraid you reap what you sow. How are those crap PE teachers doing btw?
  18. England v Nigeria was 730am I think, along with the Brazil game where Seaman let in the Ronaldhino free kick, I remember being in the pub at 7am for Nigeria game, and just before ko a load of posties came in to watch it.
  19. I'd love to beat Preston and get a point at Norwich with a free shot at Burnley as no expectations (from me anyway). Norwich are starting to score freely and look a very decent outfit without it all fully clicking yet. Burnley are still learning to play the passing game and they also tried a few balls over the top when I watched them, hopefully we don't play too high and get caught for pace at the back. I can see the Burnley game being a loss for us after the Norwich game being on a Weds and Burnley playing on the Tuesday, travelling etc. I can just see a "we've not turned up" performance coming. Hopefully I am way off. If we can get 4+ points from the next 3 games we will still be in a very decent position after nearly quarter of the season gone.
  20. I've read some shite on here, but you are only a proper manager if you take a club up from the Championship must be bang up there at the top? The huge majority of managers in the 4 English Leagues would probably have got Fulham or Bournemouth promoted last season. How desperate can one person be to get some attention on here. Then again, how much better are we replying to such nonsense.
  21. Even if it wasn't the high press and the game we played, and we agree to cross that off as part of an excuse/theory. Looking at the rest of your post and mine - and it's all down to the manager. If players lost belief, minds elsewhere, momentum, togetherness etc etc, it is down to the manager and coaches to change all of that. From memory our football after that Wolves game was poor. I just don't see any of that happening with the players, coaches and more importantly the manager we now have. We may well have a poorer second half to the season if we are anywhere near the top 8 at Xmas, but I'd wager we won't have one where we fall off a cliff like back then, as long as we have a near fully fit squad and don't sell all the top players in January. Even last season we got 28 points from Jan 1st.
  22. But back then we were playing a different game. The high press was gradually burning out players back then and it wasn't a huge surprise to see a slump. I'd be very surprised if we don't gain a fair few more points than that after Christmas. Different style and more experienced manager - on the basis we don't have a massively depleted squad with injuries.
  23. But Joey told everyone he has to reign Waels spending in, and let's be fair here, he never says things just to please a few of "his" fans does he....
  24. I bet he has full time players who will be on less than many of the loans he would have enquired about. I'm sure it's nothing to with the quality setup, stadium, training ground, the new player videos, Barton and ummmm wages. Regardless, why does he not actually try and buy some players, and build a longer term squad, team ethic etc etc. Considering their owner is wanting to spend all of his cash as he's so rich and generous, it's all very odd. Or is he maybe telling fans a few porkies on the money front. Or could he even be worried that some players just won't get on with him (I cannot think why) and he has to freeze them out on full pay, whereas with a loan he can send them back due to their attitude?
