  1. But they do have superb sprayed images of "legends"....
  2. As long as the clock got stopped and started for when the player is sin binned. We have ridiculous time wasting as it is now, imagine what will happen when you are down to 10 or even 9 men for 15 mins. Players will be falling over for nothing, physios will be on the pitch non stop. As for Sykes he obviously does seem to have a short fuse so is an easy target (even more so now). What really pisses me off in this situation is the instigator simply gets away with it, if the cynical foul never occurred in the first place then we wouldn't be in this position. The rules need changing, but I am unsure how it could be done fairly.
  3. I'd be fuming if it was us, but don't think it was going to be playable regardless. After the way Cardiff has handled the Sala stuff then I think it's a lovely bit of karma, especially if they lose the replay and manage to get relegated. Couldn't happen to a nicer club.
  4. I have never seen that before, I would say they should have classed that as a shot on target as the keeper saved it from being a goal (nobody can 100% guarantee he wasn't going for the far top corner either). There are plenty of examples of crosses that have gone straight in and they would count them as a shot on target so this example seems a bit off to me.
  5. Yes I know that, I was replying to a post that as I understand it, suggested it would change the current way they are recorded as a blocked shot to be recorded as a shot on target. Unless I have completely read it wrong?
  6. The trouble with that is it sounds very simple but in practice it won't be. What about shots that are blocked by an opposition player from less than a yard away from the shot, some shots are blocked inches away and are virtually a tackle, also plenty of shots would initially be going wide (Weimanns goal yesterday would be classed as off target wouldn't it if it was blocked within a few yards)? It may not be perfect as it stands now, but it is probably the easiest and quickest way without going too technical and have cameras everywhere and more people checking, with even more disagreeing that certain shots are on or off target).
  7. Is there any reason why they cannot simply set up a mic for Pearson? To be fair though, the part I have listened to so far is pretty decent, but I have turned off previous interviews due to the terrible sound (volume of the questions).
  8. Sad situation with the stats in your post? That is how I would see it anyway. Rather than a "you're sad" type of reaction. We created enough tonight to score a few, and I honestly reckon if the first went in we'd have won by 3 at a canter. I'd be more worried if we weren't creating anything.
  9. The trouble is that is the same even if you take football out of it. Remember when a fight was a fight and that was it. Now I'd be more scared of getting knifed, bottled, kicked in the head seems to accepted now as normal behaviour or a whole gang having a go at one or two people - that's before anything that happens after the incident. You can see what's coming with this story already, which will be "football has major problem". Conveniently forgetting all the trouble, violence, crime riddled streets of the UK day in day out - forget all that though, it will all be about ALL football fans being hooligans and violent.
  10. How does he come to that conclusion? It was obviously an unprovoked act by a bunch of cowards (who deserved a hiding themselves). But to conclude from that, that "most" of our support as the lowest life in the football leagues is ridiculous. Are most of his clubs fans now the lowest life in the league due to this incident on the weekend? Of course they are not. As for the fan that was killed (RIP) - hopefully this will make a few "bullies" think twice.
  11. I know a few Liverpool fans myself and none have ever been to a single game (I've seen them live once more than them), the same as a couple of Spurs fans who have never been to a single Spurs game between them. None have ever even tried to get on any supporters club/members etc to try and get match tickets either. Very odd.
  12. I've never known someone be so positive as you week in week out on these match threads......
  13. Nothing working on Virgin either
  14. You have to love their pick and choose stats to suit. It was a lunchtime kick off on a Sunday in the FA cup against a team we have been playing for years. Next they will be quoting attendances in the Carabao cup to somehow justify how great they are.... When we played the same team in the League back in October we had just over 21k. Our lowest home attendance in the League this season is still over 17k.Still, better not quote any of that - even though that poster would have seen it.
  15. Imagine they were too scared to show an image of a full stand, or the Stadium, I just cannot think why.
  16. Indeed, you just have to look at Lincolns unbeaten home record in the league this year. Played 16 - won 3 and drawn 13!
  17. How can VAR be used in one game and not another in the same competition? It should be at every game or none at all.
  18. FFS - don't bring your actual facts lies into this.
  19. I do not know one single person who has stopped watching the Football to then change and go to the Rugby. I know a few who do both who never previously watched the Rugby, and a few who just go to the Rugby who never previously. That poor Saggie must have thousands of City mates to have found out his "fact" of there being many who have changed. Because I would bet the house on it being completely made up bullsh1t (or he simply knows one person).
  20. I reckon it is superb that they have gone down there, they may give it the big 'un with their colours and their flag. But secretly all of them will be so envious and absolutely seething inside just looking at what facilities we have (multiple bars, multiple food outlets with huge variety, and all in date). It will all come flooding back to them as well each and every time they go to the Mem and have a look at their own ground that basically needs knocking down. Ps - thanks for the money as well, I'd like to think of it that you have donated some cash towards the previous purchase of The Snake.
  21. I guess Parkway is hundreds of miles away, along with no public Transport going anywhere near the Mem.
  22. I seen the previous name "waconda" banded about but I don't know why that account has gone and has now opened a new one? Anyone enlighten me?
  23. I'm still waiting for answers on the Pearson thread and this one regarding questions about players. I reckon you have no chance either, bar a load of deflection. There is definitely some sort of agenda going on by Vidal on here.
  24. I've simply added some substance to a simple list that you provided, unsure why you seem to get so defensive when anyone replies to you. Stats are backing up my point!! It is pretty obvious to everyone who seems to be looking in that Wycombe are pretty skint, they are searching for players that are either past their prime but still have ability, have had injury issues so are cheap, OOC, free, cheap etc etc etc. Yet you seem to think they weren't, or aren't punching above their weight. That have massively overachieved with what they have. As for Mawson playing for Wycombe this season - it pretty much proves the point being made, he made 11 appearances for us and got injured, he re-signed for Wycombe this season. A huge risk for any club signing him and taking a punt and then he got injured and retired. Again, would you be happy if Pearson signed any, or all of the ones on your list?
