  1. This season was/is part of the bigger picture so you have in theory commented on it. My patience lasts for what exactly? I'm not expecting promotion in 12 months. Next season I would expect progress, this season has shown progress too. I'd be happy for a club that isn't losing 30 million quid, and become a more stable and sustainable club, hopefully 3/4 players through the door that will improve us with more depth and competition for places, maybe a couple more academy players having a breakthrough too. I am hoping for more stability and would probably expect a comfortable mid table/top half finish with some more consistency in our game. The season after I would like to see us closer to the top 6. What are you expecting next season, what would you class as being happy with? What had you expected for this season with all of the mess that has been going on for the last 2/3 years?
  2. Yes of course you do, but I think your opinion is complete and utter nonsense if you are able to look objectively at the bigger picture. Why are you comparing what has happened in the last 35 years? The game has completely evolved on and off the pitch. I am unsure what you expected NP or anyone else to come in and do after the LJ/Ashton era. No money to spend due to LJ/Ashtons reckless spending, we are heavily relying on signing lower league players to make the step up, getting rid of multiple high earners who were a waste of money from the previous regime, promote and develop multiple teenagers from our academy into the first team, and try and get them playing consistently in the Championship. Yeah we should be finishing top 6.... I'm just completely lost on why you have such high expectations with what has gone on, and if you think there have only been 5/6 enjoyable games at home this season then I really I am unsure what you have been watching, and again what you are expecting to see from a developing team.
  3. Personally, yeah I am very happy, the club is definitely going in the right direction. Staying up was the aim, we achieved it comfortably with a load of injuries when it was all coming together nicely. We have blooded a load of youngsters and haven't spent a lot whilst getting in huge fee for Semenyo and possibly a monster one for Scott. Conway, Pring, Bell are all exciting prospects along with multiple other players who have bought into what Pearson and the club are trying to do. It must be terrible for you to support a club and not be able to see the bigger picture, and be disappointed the majority of the time whilst actually watching them. I don't know if you do realise but Ashton and LJ pretty much ruined this club for the last few years, and Pearson has came in and done an exceptional job in the circumstances to have us where we are. Also, nice of you to just pick out those 3 games, Burnley (runaway Champions), Sheffield United (runners up) and Watford (a basket case granted, with a squad costing how much exactly). Did we get battered in all of those games? Honest opinion? If I was you I would go and get a new hobby, as this one doesn't seem a very good fit.
  4. Absolute superb. I'm very surprised he never said he can't wait to go and see his "second team" at the Stadium that had more improvements than Tottenham just 12 months ago.
  5. That first half they looked like the worst side I have EVER seen in the Championship. We could easily have been 4 up by HT. Fair play to him turning that shower around to stay up.
  6. Is this a whoosh? Paul Ince got sacked about a month ago.
  7. He may have fallen for all the BS himself. If he does sack him it definitely won't be face to face!!
  8. Not too worried here, I mean who has he hired so far that makes you think he will hire anyone decent in the future? He ain't got a pot to piss in to get anyone with a proven track record - unless they are past their sell by date.
  9. Where exactly did you get that stat from? After the second Man City defeat we got 13 points from our next 11 League games:, so unsure where you are getting 11 points from 23 games? QPR W Bolton L Sunderland D Leeds D Fulham D Cardiff L Sheff W W Preston L Burton D Ipswich W
  10. There will be another load next season too, along with more freebies who will last a season or less, it's a great business model for the ongoing success over there. The self confessed genius knows what he is doing as he has offered advice to other managers/teams/players etc etc. How any club or manager thinks that is feasible for longterm success I don't know, but haven't they got rid of the academy or Al Quidi no longer wants it? It will be rinse and repeat season after season, and if they did manage to go up they would be screwed to get the next level of loans where they have to pay serious money for, or actually pay decent wages and fees for another set of players, as they won't have their own players ready to make the step up. I honestly think if they managed to go up it would be a bigger disaster for them rather than staying where they are in League One.
  11. Can't you get an account from a friend you can use, I've been using a mates for the last 5/6 years with no issues whatsoever. Unless you use the same betting strategy and your betting would be linked with you PC account then I don't see how they could prove anything (use a different IP address/VPN etc). Yes it's a bit of a risk, but more than worth it I would guess.
  12. You want (or need) to get yourself on the Betfair Exchange. The same bet returns £135, or you could have staked £55 less for the same return you have.
  13. That cannot be right. didn't Joey say they have 10,000 Gasheads every week and with a new ground they would have 17,000 because they have the fanbase there. I mean the poor Saggies wouldn't be making up attendance figures would they, it's not like they have previous for it.....
  14. We don't want that to happen, he gives us so much comedy gold and add in their fans lap it up, it's brilliant to watch.
  15. So he didn't want to play him as he didn't want to risk an injury from a glorified Rugby team, yet he brought him on anyway on 57 minutes. The actual state Barton gets himself into with his post match lies and delusions is brilliant to read. Is there another manager anywhere in the football league who gets as bitter, and simply cannot handle a defeat with any grace. Another game, another loss, and another load of excuses that doesn't include Joey Barton as part of the reason why they lost. It's uncanny how it keeps happening, they keep getting beat by teams that are always worse than them, yet these worse teams have all finished higher than them after a full season. Uncanny I tell thee.
  16. I've had a couple of interest bets on 0-0 (19/2) and 1-0 (10/1) simply on the basis that if there is no early goal then the longer it goes on 0-0 will Hudds really go for it? If they go 1-0 in front then Warnock will probably use every trick in the book to try and shut up shop. An early goal could do my bets though.
  17. The fans should be fuming at their club/board after getting more points deducted, they have nobody to blame but themselves to be in the position they find themselves in.
  18. Didn't you hear? That relegation had absolutely nothing to do with him whatsoever.
  19. It would be great if someone had the time to put together his bitter comments excuses after every defeat they endure. Has he ever said it was a poor team selection, poor tactics or God forbid praise the other mob. The list would be endless.
  20. Whoa - don't mention anything about the massively biased ones who cry racism at every opportunity possible, (no matter how hard the mental gymnastics they have to go through for it to work in their mind or reality), it's amazing that they seem to be the only ones who are actually seeing the "race" of every individual everywhere. They are like, what do you call it? Is the word I'm looking for racist?
  21. If you were opening a Nandos franchise at a new retail park that also had a football stadium, would you: A: Open one in the Stadium that gets footfall every couple of weeks and shut the majority of the time or B: Open one in the retail park where it is open to everyone 7 days per week from lunchtime until late evenings?
  22. How have you come to that conclusion? From everything I have read about the bloke I think the complete opposite (not that he'd play for £100 per week, but definitely not go anywhere purely for money).
  23. The delusion of Joey and Co is excellent to hear (and read). Truly exceptional stuff what they all constantly spout and actually believe, and without any questions to their claims, and the huge majority of the fanbase just laps it all up.
  24. Agree to a point, but then simply ban the blatant ones, some of the dives are ridiculous and I think a lot of it could have been stamped out years ago with the threat of a retrospective ban - do you think the likes of Fergie would accept Ronaldo getting multiple bans, he would get it stopped himself. I have no issue if some think one is 50:50 so to speak or simply not 100% sure, VAR still cannot get things right, so you have to give the benefit of doubt to the player I guess in certain instances. But in this instance he was touched and to go down has been encouraged for years now, I am not advocating a ban for that as different angles will show he was touched (even if he went down easy), I am basically talking about blatant diving and cheating, when nothing happens we have players and managers who couldn't care if players cheat as part of the game (until it goes against them).
