  1. Also to see the husbands faces when they get home and tell them what it is really like.
  2. Mccleary - 33yo when he signed for them and out of contract Vokes - 32yo (previous season only 5 starts and 1 goal all season in the Championship) Obita - 23 appearances in the 3 previous seasons in the Championship Scowen - 2 seasons in League one before signing for them Mawson - signed on loan in League 2 at aged 20, after spells on loan in the conference (hardly a Championship player then) I would be interested to hear your comments if Pearson went and signed any of them, and told us all that they were Championship class players when they were signed. You seem to think everyone seems to go overboard with praise on here, yet it looks like you have gone way, way, way OTT with your assessment of Wycombe Wanderers imo.
  3. Are they looking for land or another Stadium grab?? They want to find one, not build one? "Gorringe insists the club's priority is finding a new stadium"
  4. He's been on multiple times since getting owned a few weeks ago, but stopped posting (cannot think why). I thought it was pretty much agreed it was Flapper himself.
  5. Is @Miah Dennehy ok? He seems to have gone missing lately. I'm sure a couple of months ago I read multiple times how great the football was under St Joey, and some of the most entertaining stuff he's ever witnessed. TBF I am finding it quite entertaining at the moment myself, so keep up the good work Joey.
  6. Agreed that speculation wouldn't have helped. I watched one of their games and they were superb and that may have been before we played them. They should get enough points to stay up and you'd have to expect them to get some points out of the games against the teams below them, but it wouldn't be the biggest shock to see them dragged down right into it. If they go behind/lose on the weekend at home then the atmosphere could get extremely toxic if it hasn't already.
  7. We've had some shockers, but with our streaks we used to have some winning/unbeaten ones under LJ I'd be surprised if we had a run of 17 games with only 9 points. I think our worst run under NP was when we were already safe, so without discounting it, there were a few other factors at play too.
  8. None of us will know, but before he left he did lose 4 from 5 and that was against Brum, Coventry, WBA (they were awful back then) and Hudds, and that was the start of their rapid downfall. I still cannot see them being anywhere close to where they are now though if he did stay, but think they have had a lot of injuries as well. The new manager really needs some sort of bounce as player and club confidence must be so low, if they don't get some points soon it could get very twitchy for them.
  9. I'm not sure if we have even been on one that bad? It does seem an extraordinary run they are on.
  10. On Oct 22nd after beating Wigan they were top after 16 games and had 30 points. So in their last 17 games they've managed to get 9 points, that is just mental.
  11. They have been truly awful and confidence must be rock bottom, and if they don't get a new manager bounce they could find themselves in a relegation scrap. They have a few 6 pointers as well coming up - Rotherham away, Blackpool away, Brum Home, Wigan away in their next 6 games.
  12. Just put me on ignore and leave me on ignore. I haven't done, or said anything wrong whatsoever. If you want to dish it out then you can have some back and it's fair game. Why you are so upset I don't really know, maybe nobody ever has a little go back at you and you simply cannot take it, for someone who is open to debate it seems very odd behaviour though. Unsure why you have had to send me a DM with an expletive in telling me to give it a rest when you are dishing it out yourself. All you needed to do was give it a rest yourself rather than bringing a post up 5 hours after it was posted. Do you honestly not expect nobody to reply to you when you quote them? It's an open forum, and if you don't like it then I'm afraid it isn't my problem. You could have easily left it alone yourself, but you chose not to.
  13. Yeah definitely. I'm sure anyone who can bebothered to even read any of this will be thinking "that Percy got that other fella rattled". Maybe you should re-read your posts after putting me on a 4 hour ignore. You've completely lost the plot.
  14. Thanks for that. I think most know how the ignore facility works - the point is when you put someone on ignore the reason is for you to ignore them. To then read their posts and quote them, and then keep responding (whilst claiming they are on ignore), sort of defeats the purpose doesn't it - and quite frankly is a little bit embarrassing. To help you out a little: ignore /ɪɡˈnɔː/ Learn to pronounce verb refuse to take notice of or acknowledge; disregard intentionally.
  15. I'm still on ignore I see, twice now, or is it thrice? Ignore on, ignore off, ignore back on, he's posted so ignore back off, sod that I'll stick to my word and put him back on ignore, oh balls he's posted again so better get that ignore back off so I can respond and tell him he's back on ignore. No wonder why you are called Percy Pig - it's all those massive porkies you tell. And I'm embarrassing myself here. Brilliant.
  16. Awful word indeed, I simply used it because I was called it by @Northern Red earlier when I responded to @Percy Pig in another thread, and he/she went through my profile to find my post on here about Qatar.
  17. Good grief. You must tell porkies for a living as more things get made up each time you post. If I'm on ignore how are you reading and quoting my posts? Silly me asking a question, when you obviously won't see it..... I think you better contact the admin as your "ignore" facility simply isn't working. Again, silly me giving you advice when I'm on ignore as you won't see it..... Must be a Tennents Super Sunday in the PP household.
  18. You ok hun? Been on the Source for the afternoon by any chance? Shame you've put me on ignore (how will I cope) and just decided to make up a load of stuff, as you really seem one of those people who are very open minded and open to any sort of debate and criticism, what was it, a huge 3 posts and then the "you're on ignore", so very adult. ? Very snowflakey....
  19. Oh dear. Got to love the ones who get criticised, whose first thought is to search someone's posting history and try and find some "gotcha" moment. A little bit snowflakey,.... Anyone could quite easily argue that this topic should be in the Politics forum and I wouldn't be surprised if it got moved, especially when the opening post is about Qataris buying a club in the UK. Not sure how it's some sort of gotcha moment when you have actually gone out your way to shoehorn in those pesky Tories into a thread about Warnocks clothing though. Still each to their own. If it makes you feel better you claim it as some sort of win.
  20. He has to do it again in a few months if he is still there too. They only have one player that is so called worth anything so he will be gone with any half decent offer too. Just imagine if they did even go up. The loan players would probably still be gone, and he would have to try and replace them with even better players for next to nothing and compete with Championship clubs for probably the same players. Wage demands will be a lot higher across the board, who could he even attract in the Championship with their ground. I honestly think it would be quite funny if they went up, as it would put them further behind and in even more debt.
  21. Let's hope his actual club on Saturday does a job first. The teams at the bottom are just so poor I doubt Rovers need many more points to stay up anyway, would love to be wrong as they are in freefall but they will pick up some points somewhere. Last season at the same point Morecambe were on 30 points from 32 games in the last relegation place so pretty much the same, and they stayed up with 42 points, Fleetwood stayed up on GD on a paltry 40 points.
  22. Also many of their fans said he would build the whole Club, and that is exactly what has/is happening.
  23. Maybe for someone who simply cannot answer them. So if it is easier I'll list a simple 3 for you. Sunderland were missing their best player seems to be an excuse that they never beat us, so for balance, did we have any injuries? Did selling Semenyo just a few games ago make any difference to us or doesn't that count? As for being 15th, what did you (or your previous username) expect this season with the squad that was available at the start of the season?
  24. How desperate are you that you have to go to a home form table to make them seem a mid table side, rather than a team sitting in the play offs. Trotting out stats that don't really mean too much without any context. Missing their best player? Did we have any injuries by any chance? What about selling Semenyo just a few games ago, no loss to us or that doesn't count? As for being 15th, what did you expect this season with the squad that was available at the start of the season? Many (sane fans) would have snapped your arm off to finish 15th this season with a gradual improvement and consistency by the end of it, and if we finish in the top half it will be a huge achievement.
