Don't they play away at a few larger grounds too? It's Prem football, probably 50k per week, playing in possibly the best League in the World against some unbelievable teams & players. It is also a massive opportunity to perform in front of millions of football fans and then take another big step in his career. We also have to face facts that nobody else have really came in for him, so he cannot exactly just turn up and start playing for Man City.

Were you expecting Ronaldo then? There were excuses for last season, surely he deserves some sort of chance this season after a full pre-season. I am not saying he is going to be a world beater for us either, but he's managed to play Championship football for Luton for a few seasons consistently.

The one in the know on here regarding transfers said yesterday he was definitely injured and not a stunt. Scott could still be gone next week, but it also doesn't mean he isn't injured now though, no doubt if he is gone this conspiracy theory will soon be known as fact.

How many posts are showing "we can't bare it"? It's been a constant pisstake for those 6 pages, I haven't seen a single post worried about them, it just seems to be the same as last time, they think it's another billionaire coming to take them past us ,and yet we can say with pretty much certainty it isn't.

I am not disputing for one moment that money wouldn't or couldn't be available without affecting FFP etc. What worries me is we still have posters/fans who think we should never sell anyone like Webster, Kelly, Brownhill, Reid, Bryan, Semenyo etc etc and we are not ambitious enough as we are a selling club. Where do these people think we would be without selling them. I still hear from some people (not on here) that Lansdown don't spend enough, isn't ambitious enough, what players we should just go out and just buy, what players we should never sell, these same people will still moan that NP over the first couple of years never did enough without even realising the situation he/we were in.

Bring back Ashton and LJ, I mean let's not worry about that balance sheet, what could go wrong.

They do like to pump out numbers that are always incorrect, 40,000 at Wembley, the locked out numbers, home support, away support, 12000 regularly etc etc etc.

You said making predictions was "complete guesswork". You are now saying a hell of a lot of stuff that contradicts your post. You are now saying anyone can make an educated guess with some common sense, you are also saying some clubs will have an advantage and it doesn't guarantee anything. Where has anyone said the relegated clubs (or any other club) are guaranteed to finish top, middle or bottom? Some people do their homework and take a lot of things into consideration and form an opinion, and then simply make an educated guess of where they would finish, there are no guarantees, there are no tried and trusted formulas, just people with a view on the teams/clubs and say where they thing they will finish. If you really are against someone having an opinion about what positions they think teams will finish, then just don't bother to read or comment on it. Just take your educated thoughts and think to yourself "this isn't for me, I'll ignore that thread/post". A very simple and easy thing to do, and it will stop you getting any grief in the replies too, not that you would just say something for a reaction in the first place....

How so? Surely it is an educated guess rather than complete guesswork. I am assuming you haven't "completely guessed" anywhere on this forum whatsoever about the coming season for us then? You don't think we will do ok, really well, relegated, bottom half, mid table, top half, playoffs? If it is all complete guesswork, do you fancy a couple of bets with me? Let's see who finishes highest, I'll guess for myself and have guessed Leicester and you can have QPR, I'll also have a complete guess at Man City and you can have Bournemouth. Let's say a grand on each and loser pays it to charity of their choice? I mean it's only guesswork isn't it.
