£10m gets his left testicle
Do you think we can persuade him to take that deal?
Would definitely help our FFP situation.

Brilliant.
I’d like to see NP try that. Have a feeling it would be more like that John Smiths ad…. …’ave it!!!

Could make a sale of Brownhill in the summer more likely. If they go down he could be quite attractive to a lower half club in the prem.

Dyche was certainly up there. Always remember his debut....he was terrible and it never got any better imo.
Came with a decent reputation after the Chesterfield cup run. Did not come close to matching expectations.

I appreciate he had injuries during his time with us but I’m struggling to think of too many who were worse. Any thoughts?

I have friends who know Dyche pretty well. They say he doesn’t really get on with the new owners and a parting of the ways had been coming. Keen to stay in the premier league, so will bide his time and probably look to get back in next season if he can.

Playing international football in a higher age group will be great for his development. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

I thought that was great fun. You have to admit, when it all kicks off its great entertainment. When did we last see a genuine ruck down at Ashton Gate? Memories of Mark Aizelwoid head-butting someone in clear view of the Dolman. Ah, happy days.
It always makes me smile when the commentator states the obligatory “no one wants to see this”. I do. Very entertaining.

The truth is like Kryptonite to the sycophantic fan boys.
We are in the bottom 6 of the division which is the bottom quarter of the Division.
It was implied, incorrectly that we are in the bottom third to give the impression that we are doing better than we are.
Classic Happy Clapper spreadsheet move.
I’m guessing you’re adding mind reading to your huge lists of skills and accomplishments.
I was merely pointing out the facts. Something I thought you were very keen on. If you read @Davefevs posts (the evidence suggests you obsess over them) then you will know he has talked about thirds all season.Your trolling is becoming increasingly tiresome and so I will join the growing group who have decided to put you on ignore.

We are in the bottom quarter not third.
But agree with the rest of this post.
We are actually in the bottom third and the bottom quarter. We are also in the bottom half. Apart from that I agree with the rest of your post.

He got better after I commented tbf, but heavy touches and poor decision making the first few times he got in promising positions
Not saying you were wrong. Just that we saw the same action and had completely opposite views.

OTIB in a nutshell

Alternatively, Lansbury has started 20 out of Luton’s 39 games so far, and was subbed off in 10 of those. The way you look at it seems to depend on the narrative you’re desperately trying to push.

I think Kalas will be off.
I agree. I think it would suit everyone if he could find a club willing to pay us a reasonable fee.

I’ve got a feeling that Nige likes him. Challenged him to show he was worth a contract and he seems to be doing everything he can. I’m not sure whether he’ll prove to be good enough, but his contract would be on relatively low terms so all considered definitely worth the risk for me. He might just end up being part of a formidable partnership with Atkinson.

Hrmm!
1,2...
1,2,3,4.
Let me tell you how it will be
There's one for you, nineteen for me
Cos I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman
Should five per cent appear too small
Be thankful I don't take it all
Cos I'm the taxman, yeah I'm the taxman
If you drive a car, I'll tax the street
If you try to sit, I'll tax your seat
If you get too cold I'll tax the heat
If you take a walk, I'll tax your feet
Taxman!
Cos I'm the taxman, yeah I'm the taxman
Don't ask me what I want it for (Aahh Mr. Wilson)
If you don't want to pay some more (Aahh Mr. Heath)
Cos I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman
Now my advice for those who die
Declare the pennies on your eyes
Cos I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman
And you're working for no one but me
Taxman!I can’t believe they ripped off the baseline from Start by The Jam. Shocking

I don’t see us getting £10m+ for Massengo, if he goes at all. Plus would owe AS Monaco some if that too.
Getting Palmer and Wells off wage bill won’t be easy. Might end up still paying some of their wages.
Kalas, agreed.
Sell of other players, won’t be easy either. Might end up still paying some of their wages.
Start lowering expectations
Answer to bold bit: No, imho.
Why? No guarantees that spending money will earn you more points than what you get deducted. Will we see another season with such poor points totals from other clubs?
Re second bit….the aim has to be to recruit to improve us, but frugally.
The second bit follows the first. If you accept that you have to do what it takes to stay within FFP then the second is the logical follow on. No issues with that at all. Just wondering if we could recruit sufficiently to absorb 6 points. Your opinion seems to be that we might not be able to and it is too much of a risk. I totally get that. I just worry even more that we might not be able to recruit the players we need under our FFP limitations and we could be in a difficult position anyway.
