He's worked hard for that. A testament that attitude over ability will see you further in your career.

    Well done Cam.

So basically you are saying you think he is not very good but works hard. Think that is a bit unfair he has shown plenty of ability, a good turn of pace, along with determination to do well and not let mistakes affect his play.

Looking at the 2 goals, and there are better people to pick them apart than me.
First , I think Vyner isn't too much at fault, the guy hits the cross fairly early and Vyner could not afford to dive in. The 2 CBs are too far across IMO. Good movement by Bradshaw and Afobe, both on their man's blindside. I would like Kalas & Towler to be in a position to see the man and cross, but you can't always be in the perfect position. That said Towler should do a bit better and try harder to get himself there. Allows the striker to get a run oh him. Didn't really mark the man or attack the ball. Brilliant cross all the same.

I did say at the time, I'd like to see the keeper come, but that may be a little harsh.

    2nd Goal
Lovely ball into space and we all know Afobe's power and pace. Towler had been left one on one with Afobe. I would have liked Towler to wait, take a chance on Afobe missing or being able to get back into a better position. Doubtful he was ever going to win that ball fairly. It did look as though he was getting back, rush of blood I guess, we've all been there, ball looks like it's there to win, but.....

I thought Towler had done pretty well, he needs to get up to speed quickly as it's a massive step up from the National League. Makes the choice for next week interesting. I wonder how close Cundy is, I wonder what the Medical advice on Baker is. Simpson could be given a try and allow Zak to step inside. Looking forward to see if we have some players returning, Williams possibly, King should be available I think. Be a good time to give Wells a run & Weimann a rest maybe. Who knows.

Thanks for the pictures, I described the goals on the NP thread and also thought Towler had done well up to then, experienced defenders get done the same, we have conceded many goals where a run has been made in behind Kalas or Baker. The problems was after the 2nd goal you could see the confidence of Towler and maybe team mates was shot and we did well to survive to half time. Towler looks a good player and will add to his learning experience.

  3. Oh we do love a few conspiracy theories on here.

Could be simply NP is trying to get us playing out from the back and keeping the ball. Perhaps tried out in training which we are not privy to.

I thought we started well and Towler moved the ball around well, we got caught for the 1st goal with a great ball in and an in form Striker making a run  behind Towler, the 2nd Kalas makes a bad pass and is out of position and Afobe gets the better of Towler. This can happen to experienced defenders.

After their 2nd goal you Could see the confidence go and did well to get to half time.

HNM made a big impact and was much more effective than Benerous, coupled with a change of shape and Millwall wanting to get deep and defend a lead all changed the game.

NP has many reasons for picking a team but the key is being able to adapt and change if not working

Again read the Topic title - it is a fact

It was stated as a fact rather than an opinion - I did that deliberately.

My post was then a formulation of my thoughts based on past experience, knowledge of the subject mater and then carefully considered to create an opinion.

I do understand that the difference between my opinions and facts are very close - but they are only opinions that are supported by facts.

    Delusional ? No

    Honest ? Yes

    Insightful ? I hope so

Hope that helps and clears it up for you

    So your FACT is

We did not play a ‘Striker’ for 90 mins at home

    So what is Weimenn?

The point is in the title.

played one second half and will looked much better and we scored twice..

    Its nothing to with Wieman.

More about Seymenyo is not a ‘Striker’ - should play wide in a front three with a ‘Striker’ in the middle - wells or Martin to be precise.

Over 4 half’s of football - we won 1 (the one with the ‘Striker’ playing.

Its seems more like a statement of fact rather than an opinion - thanks for help on that….

Think your delusional and do not understand the difference between your opinion and facts.

Play a ‘Striker’ second half and we score 2 and win the game.

Lucky we have people who understand the game  - Me and Nige and now you

Think you are twisting things to try and cover up the sh1t posts you make. In case you did not notice Weimenn was on from the start and scored all 3, same player was on the pitch the other day when you claimed we did not have a striker, bit embarrassing to keep on really.

You must hate it when I am right.

For someone who does not know about football I must get lucky with my posts.

    Replying to your reply…..

As someone said on a post the other day

"It is no good arguing with an idiot

As they will just drag you down to their level and win with experience"

Strange how nobody seems to agree with you, but you know better than every one else

But hey, I am not going to get dragged down to your level!!

The one on Sky and Quest, I think someone linked to it on another thread

Basically said (along the lines of from memory), for someone who supposedly played football, albeit at a low level he was incredibly naive and got many decisions wrong, hope the next time he seems him is on the parks as that is his level

Just to update and add in NP actual quotes

"We came across a strong team and some dodgy refereeing. We should’ve had another penalty. The decisions were awful and I’ve told him that,"

“As an ex player wow, naivety beyond belief in all honesty. I know he was a lower league player, I hope the next time I see him he’s on the parks because that’s where he should be

"How the assistant didn’t see it (the Scott penalty call). Look, we had it all on playing against 11 when we had 10 but the decisions just continued to be awful. It was a terrible performance by them (the officials).

"I’m not someone who moans a lot but let me tell you, that was awful today, and I told him as well."
