  1. DaSilva since being injured has lost all pace, he is continually be skinned by wingers now, he always had a problem with his height, but that coupled now with lack of pace makes him a liability at LB. If he plays at all, then it would be in front or Pring, but you may as well play Odowda who offers more going forward

  2. Its interesting how the midfield dynamic changed last night when James went off, I thought up to then Bakinson was our best player and is now being lambasted by the usual I need a scapegoat brigade, but and I think Massengo is probable our best player, was it Massengo's energy and charging off closing down players that caused the loss of shape and changed the game? does he need to be more disciplined or was it James organising that was missed?

Didn’t press for their goal, gave it away a dozen times. Not the worst out there but far from great in my opinion.

Now you are just making up shit to try and justify your stance in TB, the ball was played over the top of him for the goal and AV did not pick up the runner next to him. Even then it was lucky with a massive deflection. As for giving the ball away, I cant think of any other than through balls in the final third trying to play players in.

  4. Like KP and think if we have a solid midfield behind him, he is the one who can pick a pass and open the door, unfortunately he starts dropping deep in games and tries to be to elaborate in the wrong part of the pitch and does not do enough at team defending.

Its all speculation about training, as fans we only get to see a tiny part of what happens at the club, maybe he has had crossed words with NP, maybe he sulks when not in the team, maybe he does not carry out NP's instructions when on the pitch, their are so many reasons why NP seems to have frozen him out and maybe making an example of him.

It seemed clear he did not want to come back from Swansea and heard a while back that he still lives there, so maybe NP's comments about people not wanting to be here are directed at KP

The parachute payments are there to give promoted sides the confidence to spend and try to be competitive. They aren’t there to ensure those clubs come back up again quicker.  I’ve never heard a good alternative suggestion. I don’t think asking clubs to risk their financial future to stay in the premier league is the answer

PP was turkeys voting against Christmas. Its said that promotion is worth 200m to a club, therefore the new players signed could have contracts that in the event of relegation allow them to be either sold at X value or have a wage reduction that allows the club to comply with FFP of the division they now find themselves in. PL could enforce change so all new contracts are written this way. It will not affect the top clubs as they are never likely to get relegated.

  6. It has been that way every year, at least 2 teams with PP get promoted each year

The premier clubs have tried to ensure a closed shop, by trying to ensure any club relegated is given a massive financial advantage to enable a return over the following 3 years.

I do not no of any other competition that is so rigged

Fans of all the clubs outside of this monopoly need to start banding together a protest against the PP clubs ruining football

Either more money from the prem has to filter down so the wealth decreases the divide (not just to the championship) or players contracts have to be changed so that relegated clubs can conform to the FFP rules that the clubs playing in that division have to adhere to without PP

I think it is impossible to say NP didn't make a cock-up there.

I think the biggest mistake with Simpson was not including him in the released list this summer. Strikes me, Nige us living in the past with his ex- Leicester players. Only James still has what it takes at this level, really.

Those 3 signings were about leadership between players and trying to change a dressing room culture, which is why maybe he sees Simpson as important,

I don't think we can say - based on a few incidents - that Tanner would have had "a 'mare" throughout the match.

Against the decent forward line of Bournemouth he was our best player.

At any rate, using up a sub to bring on Danny "desperately underwhelming" Simpson WAS a mistake.  When has Simpson ever looked impressive for us? Never.

Perhaps if he a decent defender on the bench, your argument might hold some water.

The point I am really trying to make is NP, can be dammed if he does or dammed if he does not. Tanner has been superb since he has come in, but still young and inexperienced so needs to be protected. There may also be more to it, perhaps he was struggling with a knock or had been unwell, maybe he had not carried out an NP instructions.  I am not a fan of Simpson, but expect him to come on and use his experience and not make school boy errors. FWIW, I thought Dasilva was far worse than Tanner, but guess NP did not see the need to swap him out

When we slate younger players because "Pearson watches them in training and says they aren't ready" we have to remember this is the same Pearson who hooked off George Tanner over a mistake on 30 minutes and then put on a near-35-year-old defender who made considerably worse howlers.

Of course he could have left Tanner on, he had already been skinned once, made a sloppy pass and looked to be struggling, he could have then gone from bad to worse and totally destroyed his confidence, of course you would then be beating a drum saying why did NP not take Tanner off, could see he was having a mare.

The thing which baffles me with the ‘Sack NP’ brigade is not only how do we do that within FFP, but who the hell are you going to replace him with?

We all wanted a proven manager with a decent track record… we’ve got that? Or is he not the right one? Who is the right one if NP isn’t?

Do we go for a young and upcoming manager with modern methods who’s doing a decent job elsewhere? Lee Johnson type perhaps? Oh, we’ve already done that and it didn’t work. Or was he the wrong one as well?

Should we take a punt on someone unproven? Like an ex player? Oh, Dean Holden. That didn’t work. Or was he the wrong one as well?

There’s nobody out there realistically who could come in and do a better job. I genuinely think it has to get worse before it gets better, a period of unrest whilst the deadwood goes and we almost start a fresh, and for me r Nige is the man.

They can have Houghton or McCarthy now as they have both done well
