  1. It really saddens me that you feel like this. We all make mistakes in life believe me, I've made loads. I hope you find peace in yourself to enjoy the simple things in life enjoyable. Thinking of you fella.
  2. At the end of the day it's bloody simple what he needs to do, invest the Alex Scott money in five players. A attacking midfielder a defensive midfielder, a centre half a keeper and a forward. Spend half of the Scott money and at the end of the season get rid of some more dead wood.
  3. I'm still in disbelief how he got the job. LJ and MA took the club Backwards. I couldn't give a toss what he does at another club. He will probably end up where his Dad is. And still talking shite and grass clippings.
  4. I remember seeing him play for QPR in his late 30's and thinking this is some player, silky smooth. Rip Trevor and condolences to your friends and family. You truly were a great.
  5. That's the spirit Major! They don't like it up um, big tone may disagree.
  6. I think we are average in most positions, I think we now have deeper depth but would still add to the squad. I think the spine of the squad needs upgrades from goalkeeper to centre forward. I'm old enough to See us promoted through TC, Big Joe, Ward, Cotterill etc. But I don't think we are promotion candidates. I also don't think we are that far away.
  7. RIP fellow red. Thoughts and condolences to his family and friends.
  8. 1960's, takes over from Big John and becomes a sensation with John Galley. 1970's comes home to save his boyhood club from relegation in their first season and what important goals they were! 1980's Tears his contract up to save the club and comes back to play on non contract terms, literally for nothing. I'm pleased to of met you Mr Garland and you Sir in my eyes are a Bristol City LEGEND. May you RIP. Ps thanks for that goal against the gas, that really took the piss! Xxx
  9. Such sad news to wake up to. Rip Chris, you will always be a club legend. My condolences to your family and friends.
  10. What I like in the signings we've made this summer is that their not stand out but more squad players in a way, if that makes sense? It seems to give the squad more depth in different positions and hopefully 15-20 more points to where we want to be.
  11. As my old grandad used to say " we're all shuffling down the same queue" and no one will take your place. From a bloke who's nearly 50 with broken ribs from jumping in a wheely bin!???
  12. That's move on and find the next Joe Bryan their must be some kid who's been released from a premier club or a kid from the lower leagues. Good luck to Joe, you scored some screamers of which I'm very grateful.
  13. Wrong club at the wrong time for me. We're in the middle of a rebuild and he doesn't fit the structure in which We're heading. There's a player there but someone else will see the benefit of him. Unfortunately not us.
  14. The first transfer news we had 30 years ago was the evening Post and team talk on the phone. My mum went mental when the phone bill arrived.
  15. This new stand must be going up quicker than a 80 year old on viagra!
  16. I can see City winning this......Man City ?
  17. I don't know if this has been posted before but a really good documentary of the great man. Happy and sad moments as he deals with dementia. I'm sure many of us have had a friend or family member with this terrible disease.
