  1. A great listen from Joey again ???
  2. It was at home I can't remember who it was against but at the time it was amazing.
  3. I remember one bit of skill he did on the right wing, left back running towards him about to foul him. Jacki with his back to the full back just flips the ball over his head. Absolutely brilliant bit of skill it was worth the admission fee alone.
  4. I don't know if true but I was once told not to put the stickers in the album as in years to come it would be worth more money. My first one was Mexico 86, I had hundreds of stickers and was waiting for some obscure defender from Paraguay. Shame my ex-wife threw it in the bin lols.
  5. Best of luck to and your boys fella. If there is a fundraising page I would love to donate. All the best in the future.
  6. Terrible news, all the best Marcus. One of the best strikers Bristol has produced.

The worst final I've every seen us play in to be honest. Danny Wilson had all the backing in the world in a league where we were a big fish. He deserved the sack and it goes to show that he wasn't upto it if you look at his managerial appointments after he left us. That final was utterly pathetic.
  8. I'm doing all the little jobs that take forever around the house. Hopefully that'll shut her up and keep me in the good books.
  9. What a pile of crap. The nearest stand looks like a keyboard and what the f@#k is that blue and white thing?
  10. I love every £18000 of him. What a player, I'd still have him on the bench to score a penalty to make it 100 goals for us but he'd probably be about 103 before we get one!
  11. Perhaps the reporters were asking questions through the tannoy system ?
  12. I was just behind the goal.
  13. I remember stevie Neville's goal like it was yesterday, it was like it was scored in slow motion. I loved that team and can recall buying all the players photos in black and white. I named my son Riley after Glyn. I would love to bump into him one day so they could have a photo.
  14. If you could of mixed Walshy and Smith that would be one world class player
  15. I agree giving food to people who need it is a great thing to do. My mother in law used to work as a manageress for greggs and was told to throw all the food that wasn't sold in the bin, that's criminal!
  16. My condolences to you and your family. I lost my grandad a few years ago who was the same age as your dad, he had many stories about our team in the 50's infact he had some great memories until he died. The one thing I will say is your dad maybe not be here anymore but the memories you both had will never go. All the best to you and your family may your dad rip.
  17. Really looking forward to it I've really enjoyed listening over the pre season. Keep up the good work ?
  18. Get well soon and here's to a speedy recovery.
  19. Get well soon Marvin, wishing you all the best.
  20. I'm pretty sure Clive Allen played a pre season against Hereford away.
  21. Very sad news to hear, rest in peace Clive you and TC were the backbone of our club in the 80's
  22. In the dark days of 1982 Glyn was a shining light, A flamboyant goalscorer who every young City fan wanted to be. Him, , Big Tom, Alan Crawford and Howard Pritchard were great for us in that promotion season of 1984. Then to be our first goalscorer at Wembley was very fitting for such a dedicated and hard working player. The biggest compliment I can give him is that I named my son Riley! Ps. The Mr's only found out why after it was on the birth certificate.?.
  23. Rip great goalkeeper.
