Pearson says 30 million or no sale. Obviously highballing a little, but they will have to offer serious money to tempt us and it will have to be early enough for us to find a replacement. My gut feeling is nothing happens.

He will be gone for between 12-15 million and not upfront similar to Kodjia fee that Villa paid in instalment’s

He has 2 years left only other scenario where we get a bigger fee is he stays and we gamble that we will be in the promotion mix come the end of January in that scenario he is worth 30m to us.

But we are in no position to gamble financially so we will take what we are given.

If we get £20m I will be shocked, even £17-18m would supprise me

would semenyo have fought in the corner getting lumps kicked out of him if he thought he might be off this week??

He’s off all the signs are there unfortunately he won’t be signing a new deal here so this window is the last chance to get a big deal done for him.

Looking forward to seeing if we do anything with the extra money on the same night.

Given that Conway ought to be a must start, and Martin should be a must NOT start. Do we continue with Wells partnering Tommy, or with 2 in 2 sub appearances, do we unleash Semenyo from the start v Huddersfield?

I'd hand the start to the Semenyo. Thought Wells worked hard but his touch was off against Blackpool, he also seemed to tire badly in the last 15 mins. Time to see if Semenyo and Conway can build a good understanding.

Attack wasn’t the problem but Semenyo is too good to leave out, depends if he’s being sold I guess that will dictate if he starts or not

  4. Prefer to judge game by game. For all Naismiths positives of which there are many he has brought to our team (communication, playing out from the back) but the fact is if you include the penalty that should never have been at Hull he has solely been responsible for costing us points this season (costly mistakes Sunderland, Hull and a hospital ball to Vyner yesterday) I’m sure he will learn from this as he wises up to the capabilities of his teammates and who is able to receive the ball under pressure in important moments! Not too much to assess again cost points due to individual errors

Have you had a name change, perhaps you were the idiot who kept posting that Semenyo will never be a striker, can't remember the user name but had to disappear as his posts were so illogical

Opposite I’m a Semenyo fan that’s heard our clubs a stepping stone, he kept us up last season good luck Conway looking decent happy days

    What? How?

Very strange statement unless you have clear proof that he is not genuinely injured.

Anyway, regarding Conway, we are not even out of August yet, if he maintains this level until May I would be amazed..... happy but amazed.

I don’t think he is injured I have heard things but the Conway come up is a great thing for us and should send the 8 goal wonder kid packing with best wishes

Proper weird post this. It’s great to have some depth in our relatively small squad but a fully fit Semenyo walks into this team!

Not really weird wiping his ass with us we should do the same ?‍♂️

Only gone and used the “over-aroused” terminology today!! ???

Good questions today, open answers as a result. ??

I think Johnson is a term trend setter I remember after he signed Hegeler he referred to him as a Rolls Royce of a player, weeks following Skysports and Talksport we’re using the term regularly… maybe it’s a similar case to when you buy a car you start to notice everywhere ?but something I noticed

Nowhere has it been said that Semenyo is ‘in a hurry to move’ .

He is you get a feeling as a football fan seen many players leave Bristol City the feeling has been there since he left for Ghana IMO,happy with Conway though he has been an unexpected supprise for me anyway and I am more willing to take the money for Semenyo now than before last week

Views on him going to Palace seem mixed on their forum. A few seem to think it would be a good option for them but many underwhelmed by the prospect. Let’s hope he stays!

He needs a 15-20 goal season I get the impression he is a little injury prone which is why he is in a hurry to move at the first attempt rather than have a real break out season and attract bigger clubs and more money for himself

I don't see that as petty!

I only think VAR is a solution if they apply it properly. I think the game is better without it.

You might lose your job over refereeing decisions if at the end of the season you don't get enough points for playoffs/promotion - or you get relegated.

So VAR is the solution and I would argue it does not slow the game down nearly as much as some people who love to argue for a hobby would have you believe!

I think the suspense of a big VAR call is entertaining and adds to the game especially if you are on the right end of it and you know what else 99% of the time it’s accurate rather than 60 % as Pearson is upset with

  12. No way Pearson is leaving now he’s ridden out the storm for 2 years now has a side that can compete and may have some money to play with if we sell Semenyo.

We wouldn’t be short of applicants for sure

    talking about him on talksport

Can’t disagree with what they are saying tbh. Get VAR in the championship is the solution but then some will still complain about that (for petty reasons like slowing the game down)

Your not going to lose your job over refereeing decisions

You’re a complete and utter joker.  No clue whatsoever.

Calm down let’s be happy with the first win he’s right we have achieved nothing yet, promising start. Hopefully everyone pipes down about another cm now.

Our first 2 defeats were down to errors at the back

He offers little defensively and that's where the problem lies that and centre of midfield,

It really doesn’t problem is we need to cut out individual errors. Without stupid mistakes we have 6points on the board and this CM debate is a non starter.

Every team in the Championship will have games when the other team will open them up it’s an even league but handing other teams goals with such small margin for error can’t be accepted
