Joe Bryan - Signed for Millwall
cotswoldred2 replied to The hand of RO'D's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Would have liked him here...but a bit sentiment over sensible? Besides not 100% sure of his commitment which doesn't suit Pearson's wants. You have to question why he has had so little games, perhaps South of France is great for someone who doesn't like football? -
That didn't take long..?

But where else will he be a starter every week in the Prem? The reason he is caught the eye is his league form so many good players get buried with top sides, he is only 19 /20 plenty of time to progress to a top side, but yep I am playing devils advocate here, maybe Villa ,West Ham, the latter seems a possibility with Rice off. Who I think was the age of Scott when he was a first team regular. What is great we all seem to want to see him progress, last thing I want is a now show for the big boys. -

Stepping stones...at least he would get game time in the Prem. -
Well the intent would be to unnearth a diamond without a higher tarrif as if he was a proven Championship player. The whole idea of scouting is being played out on this one. I am sure all the homework has been done which is indicitive of how we currently do business.

Probably not when you consider Luton, but the home factor might work in a different way for them.

They have a large home and away support, it doesn't surprise me their odds are short. I think our Ashton syndrome is muddying the waters, but I want them more than anyone else to be relegated.?

40/1 is a reflection of where we are in the football pyramid...what a great job done post Alan Dicks.

It really is and far more interesting than the the dullards that are the Prems whipping boys. In this league literally anyone can beat anyone. -

See this is just what we did with Ashton and it nearly cost us a points deduction and possible relegation. The club is developing a great crop of youngsters that are already first team regulars, with Bryan and a a couple of others coming in I expect us to really improve next season. We were hit hard by injuries last season in key areas, I really think we have already a good enough squad with a bit of magic dust sprinkled we can get top 6. Not sure if I could endure another play off misery though, so just win the league eh? -
Unlike the other mob who only care about Raynors efforts to cripple the country with strikes. How do you define rich vs poor? Do you buy a ST run a car or two, holidays etc etc. Or do you prefer the Socialist vision . We tried that once, looked what happened?

Not sure about Man City, he could be buried under the talent there, would think Brighton, Villa, or hopefully Spurs. The latter I would consider a good fit. -
Well done for getting our prize assets locked away for a few more years. Looks like Kalas is off to pastures new, if he is not sure where his future lies. Unless he can sign on reduced wages, that would be ideal with Robbo and Kalas at the back.

Nice to have no pressure, and with that we can I hope match them in most departments. Some of the previews put us down as winners, but its gonna be a good game of football I am sure.
