Ironically, Man City have the resources to field two top drawer teams simultaneously... But of course, the fixtures will be set for the convenience of the bigger club....

I can unequivocally tell you he absolutely was not. Thin ice for losing two games in a row? And then 3 draws in a row? Jeeeeez.
That run would see at least 2 changes in Manager at Watford.

It's all the stuff away from the first team that's been most encouraging.
- Getting rid of Ashton.
- Getting rid of the sh1te medical staff he brought in.
- Tins appointed to a position of influence.
- New CEO.
- Improved coaching staff.
- Offloading big wage earners
- Offloading slow players on a downward curve
- Academy players shining
And now the team are looking much more together, hungry, and are really playing for each other.
NP has made a massive impact in turning the whole club around.
I think you missed "vocal fans moving to A Block"

What I don't like is that if we were drawn away to them then VAR would be used however because we are at home it won't be.
However if we do make the quarters and have a home game then VAR will be installed at AG for that game.
Clear video footage of Stones taking out Wells with a baseball bat on the 6 yard line.... Goes to VAR.... "No Penalty".

After priority for season tickets holders and then members, maybe the club could go oldskool like for Liverpool tickets in 1994..... Vouchers handed out at the next 4 home games, then queue up for 18 hours outside the ticket office.
Nice little boost to gate receipts too...

FIFA president Gianni Infantino is not happy
World wide TV broadcasters have offered $60 million for the the Womans World cup in 2023
The 32 teams at the men’s World Cup in Qatar will share $440 million in prize money,
That is dreadful.
Infantino should be able to trouser as much cash from the Women's World Cup as he did from the Men's.
The sooner we can get equality for the women's game, the sooner FIFA top brass can update their yachts.

Might see some extra income somewhere (for example we have about £300k coming from FIFA for Semenyo and Diedhou's time in Qatar).
Why would FIFA send us money for Diedhou when he isn't our player. Is this a bung or just dodgy money laundering?

I am quite proud of our Bell right now.
Imagine the profile when he out paces Kyle Walker to slot the winner.

MotD is interested in two things 1) PL clubs particularly the top ones. 2) Cup upsets. A Championship cup match like City v WBA would have been of no interest to the BBC.
To be fair, no matches between clubs from the same league is ever of much interest in the cup. They already play each other twice in the league, and with full strength teams too.
The one good thing about the cup is the little guy competing with the big guy - AKA Urinal Football.

First touch was a shot!
I heard he was known in the dressing room as "Tackle".
Presumably referring to his second touch.

But Tins was offside.....

Be nice if club did free coaches as a 1 off for a thanks to great away support this season 10 coaches not a lot to shell out
If you are approached by a pair of strange geezers with breath that smell of Werther's Originals and sherry, DO NOT take them up on an offer of a free spot on Coach One.
I did that once. 3 hours in the baggage hold with a ball gag, a terrifying experience in a lay-by and then kicked out at the services.
And we lost 3-0.

If the owner has already contacted the club, they’ve probably left their contact details, in case it gets found during cleaning of the stadium before the next match.
.... Of course, they won't have much luck if they have left their mobile number...

Well, the answer to the question is I thought it was mine when I found it on the floor after our equalising goal… it was only until yesterday that I found the additional iPhone not belonging to me in my coat pocket… my iPhone (looking v similar)was in my pocket all along… one of those things .. hence the delay in putting out the announcement
A lot of unfortunate coincidences there, none of which should be seen as your fault. By chance, were you recently employed as Chancellor of the Exchequer????

Is it less important to measure time spent sprinting, instead look at how fast and in which direction?
E.G. Ivan Sproule vs Southampton - nearly broke the sound barrier, but nearly ended up down the Atyeo tunnel.

Back in the day it was all about a big mob taking the "home section".
This seems to be emerging again.... Difference is it used to be attempted by away fans, not home fans....

I hope the Dolman A and B block becomes what it used to be in the 80s. A place where away fans dread.
Fair play to any efforts to create a loud positive atmosphere.
But believing it will be terrifying for opposition players or especially fans is pure fantasy.
Name somewhere where you have ever been terrified by the noise a home section make??

Scott is bad news for Jude Bellingham... Jude now likely to be second choice plan B for any of the big boys looking to strengthen their spine.
Get down the gate, we only have until the end of April to appreciate him.
