How did he miss that
-
I know we all want promotions, but more than that, you want to enjoy a football match and be entertained. Credit to both sides, today is an adorable game to watch. It has everything. We are not falling asleep whilst watching, we are witnessing lots of passion, skill, and commitment.

We rather walked ourselves into that.

What a great game to watch
-
Yesssssssssss what a great start , intensity and well deserved. Cornick is on his way
-
Well done Cornick for battling through with that one, and Sam Bell does what he does, he knows how to finish. He suits that left channel well. They are causing issues down our right, and any ball into the box is tough when we are missing a ball-winning CB. But an enjoyable game. Boro will throw the kitchen sink now, so maybe a chance of a counter goal.

Screw Chelsea, and everything they stand for, and have done for many years.
After Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Abrahmovic should never have been allowed to swan off into the sunset, and Chelsea get bought and magically start spending hundreds of millions again.
They've probably distorted the european transfer market more than any other club over the years.
An absolutely shite club. I hope that they don't finish top 4 next season. If they don't, they could have significant FFP problems.
You can also add how they have destroyed the youth development structure of football by cynically farming and stockpiling teenage players.

Championship football is financially and sportingly broken. Wages far exceed income and PP makes a mockery of the competition. Until salary caps, youth player farming and income distribution are changed (Including prem), football is heading one way outside the top 5/6 clubs. It is a self inflicted implosion , where you cannot say there was not enough money. Greed and self interest have taken over and are out of control and unregulated.
As an example, Leicester, turnover around £200M yet lose £95M. Complete madness. If you cannot make a club function with £200m to have say 30 players run around a kick a ball, then there is a complete detachment from reality and common sense going on. A Prem club should be a profit making enterprise , financially viable and stable. What exactly are these clubs chasing ? Madness.

As it revealed something hitherto unknown..........personally i would rather have been kept in the dark? I will not jump on the Bash Cornick bus, but I will be astounded if he is a regular in the First Team next season..especially as Pearson stated " I will will not sign players just for the sake of it, they have to be better than what we already have ? " I look forward to seeing who he is better than?
Martin in the context of how the team is evolving, and the age of both players. So the mystery was quickly solved.

I think he’s referring to Swansea re no wins & clean sheets actually..
Still a lot of relentless negativity with absolutely no context on here (for balance).
I know he was, but I thought he was a City supporter.

No win in 6. No clean sheets in 14. And we barely put a glove on them!
So we didn't beat Blackpool , and have a clean sheet 3 games ago then ? So what you mean to say, was no win in 2 games, and no clean sheet in 2 games.

Yet another pathetic goalless away performance against another crap team to go with truly woeful performances against the divisions powerhouses, Cardiff, Reading and Birmingham, we are so so far away from being a decent team and please don’t tell me about injuries, every team has them (not that I’m convinced ours would make any difference )
So missing James, Naismith, Kalas, Baker, Atkinson, Williams and Conway would not make any difference? Can you explain why ?

A useful reminder

How can a badge design be changed so randomly without consultation, this is really part of a club's identity and heritage.
Whilst everyone has an opinion, how did we go from 3 Hummel kits that looked modern, professional, attractive and cutting edge, to the amateur offerings we have now? Hummel is still in business, they are manufacturing. It was the UK distributor that went bust.
Hell, you can even buy our kit from them .... Home and away, all sizes.

So why on earth are we dealing with a new supplier mid-season when Hummel is still able to provide a solution?

FFP considerations are not business considerations. It seems people think spending up to FFP allowances is okay when a business is still losing millions. What about a budget based on the financial viability of a club? FFP is not free money if an investor/owner does not want to spend it. We treat losses as if they are not real and part of a budget. Have a good look at what the income is for BCFC . We are still spending more than we earn, and anyn sale, like Scott, just means the club is viable, without spending one £ .
In any case, FFP is changing and all of these discussions will need revisiting when the new rules are announced very soon.

In the very near future, we will be playing Man City at least twice a season. This is just the prelude.
A game to enjoy, the magic of the cup. Please note Prem league, football is not just your property in England.

Maybe the club and Hummel have fallen out over all of this. Different situation at Coventry as they haven’t used the company that has gone bust
Same situation.

A PENALTY AND WE SCORED .... FFS

Wonderful to see another player develop into a talent desired by the top league . Well done to all , Antoine , Tins , Nige , all the staff and coaches . This is what we need , and more of .
very sad to see him go , but we got a player holding back this season , however he was like nothing we have or have had in the past . A proper modem player .I loved watching him , and it is our own fault we do not have him in the Prem with us .
Bottom line , join City , develop and reach for the top .
This has to be our model for the future .
let’s hope we invest well and better this time , we blew the opportunity last time .
We may need a few experienced heads , but developing youth and young talent is the only way we can run the club .

What is all this nonsense about "fair" price. What a bizzare concept of business some fans have. Tell you what, Bournmouth cheated FFP to get promoted, hell they even had a £50m failure bonus to help beat the also rans , to get themselves back up to the Prem, where they will get over £100m, and even if they fail again, get another £50m plus. When I read that they have paid a fee that makes everyone go "wow that is a mega deal, that is a serious fee " then yes , maybe we can talk about fair .
We paid £8m for a centre back, who was never good enough for the Prem, yet some think it is ok to sell off for the same fee one of our finest players we have had in years, a game changer on his day, and with all of the attributes a Prem player needs to have . In the contect of a Prem league that is growing income at such a rate of speed, that already 11 of the 20 richest clubs in the world are in the Prem, and 16 teams in the top 30. In a short space of time, ALL Prem clubs will be in the top 30.
So, when Antoine, or any of the others go to better things, it needs to be F off money, not chump change. Thankfully, those that make these decsions at the club agree.

Very enjoyable game. More so when we are missing so many important players. We have a good baseline for the future. Night and day compared to a few years ago. We are on the right road.
