Just thought I'd bump this & see if anyone has had any races/achievements over the summer?
Had some love runs along the coast in Lanzarote whilst there last month. Lovely & flat and from where stayed there was a decent 5km route you could run into Matagorda & back and the same into Puerto del Carmen and back. Even the ravages of the all-inclusive couldn't stop me getting out at 7am each day. Build up a thirst etc etc
Off to Port Pollensa Majorca in 2 weeks time, always run along the front at 7 to 8ish in the morning ( in my City Hummel training top) then jump in the sea..as you say build up a thirst and an appetite, try to do a minimum of 5k..heat permitting.

They could be in a bit of trouble over this, don't seem to be doing themselves any favours with the council or the residents...anyway if any retired stadium builders are looking to keep their hand in..just roll up at The Mem tomorrow at 7.30 and you are gaureenteed a shift.

I think the club have done well in attracting new fans our home gates of 20k+ prove that, highest since the Div 1 days, unfortunately many of the "new" fans don't sing, create an atmosphere etc. I have plenty of new fans around me and they just happily drink their coffee and eat pasties and politely clap if we score and spend most of the game on their phones. Not sure of the attendance yesterday but the atmosphere wouldn't have been any worse if there was only 6k home fans there. I've been in crowds of 4 to 6k at AG and the atmosphere has been far better than yesterday and the Preston game...its a shame as when people are on it AG is as good as many grounds..mind you the football on display at the moment certainly doesn't help.

Harvey Vale was the Captain of the U20 team that won the euro champs.
Team mate of Alex Scott.
Looks like a good signing to be fair.

From Gaschat, politics on their side with voter numbers apparently:-
10000+ active Bristol Rovers fans (many based/voting in Bristol) and 40,000+ passive 'fans' based on Wembley attendances..Those inflated Wembley attendances they continuously harp on about FFS, I know plenty that went to Wembley with Rovers just for a day out, they would have no interest in watching them for a game against Barnsley, Port Vale etc...its the same with us, we have actually taken over 40k to Wembley but plenty of that 40k wouldn't regularly watch us....deluded is an understatement.

For anyone that's there, were City fans respectful for the Millwall owners tribute?

It's nothing to do with unambitious ownership, it's quite simple really, when a PL club comes calling most if not all championship players will jump at the chance of joining them.

Genuine question here - how many do we reckon we’d have taken over there for that game? I definitely wouldn’t have been heading over there midweek with work, finances, and the fact we’ve been there plenty of times a few years back. What are the estimates for what we’d have travelled with?
Less than 200 I recon but we don't constantly harp on about huge away support like they do.
