Context - Cambridge United took 1,600 to Blackburn…..
Cambridge to Blackburn is only 30 miles shorter than Bristol to Norwich and they took 300 more than the "huge away support, sell out everywhere we go" from North Bristol

Signed for? bloody hell! I live alone and work for a living, hell on bleeding earth
Not great is it ? Never had to sign for a ticket before.

Do you have to sign for them as I had a delivery attempt while I was away on Saturday and I'm fairly sure the only delivery I'm due by post is my ticket, never had to sign for a ticket before tho.

Not the greatest home game I've ever seen, I'm guessing I'm a fair bit older than you but yes it was a great night and big occasion. I actually felt we were on our way to something special that night..what do I know

It's just a simple fact, people elsewhere in the country with no more money - and sometimes less - go to football home or away, where we do something else.
We're not as "passionate" about football and actually going to football matches as people in, say, Portsmouth, Sunderland or Merseyside.
Nothing to get upset about.
Exactly..and its not having a go at our support but Sunderland, Leeds, Boro, Birmingham, Ipswich, Norwich and probably Plymouth would sell out at Watford on boxing day and no I'm not going but I would have done 20 years ago.

936 left now. A win Friday May add a few. But I suspect a few may also make a last minute decision on this one. So hopefully they make it POD
What was the allocation?

Leyton Orient away back in the day. The train broke down and we were stuck in the middle of Salisbury Plain for what felt like hours and it was ******* freezing. We eventually got there at HT but were just in time to see our winner.
IIRC, those that were on it got a free train to Gillingham (?) by way of compensation.
I was on that train, nightmare trip and yes I think you are right about Gillingham.

Seen a "In Pearson we trust" sticker at baggage collection at Palma airport in September and back in 2003 I was visiting family in western Australia for new year, we were staying in a small town about 2 hours from Perth and went to a house party and some lad walked In wearing the famous blue and white quarters, he was a good lad and came from Kingswood.

I heard £10 adults
That would be great, not much dearer than a pint in London.

I don't think we would sell 9k whatever day or time it was, yes it's a new ground but West Ham are a team we have played in the league since our top flight days. Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea I think we would take those sort of numbers but not West Ham. 5 to 6 thousand I recon.

Anyone know how many they are supposed to be bringing?
They always bring a few, early start for them today tho, wouldn't be surprised at 1500 odd.

No but I worked on the 2 lead domes on the building on the side of Station approach in about 1983. We completely re-leaded them, spent about 2 months up there.
URGENT info for those travelling to West Ham by train
