Hopefully if there is a chance of sending Stoke down we will not repeat that.
We should play hard anyway, but relegating an opposing side especially at their ground is often a fun scenario.
If we were to relegate Stoke at their place last game of the season...let's just say I wouldn't expect Stoke fans to be shaking our hands after

So next Saturday sees our friends from over the bridge visiting. Identical current form over the last 6 although they are on minus 5 gd and we are on 0 gd. Big game this..if we roll over and lose this one things could turn a little nasty towards Manning and those above I feel. Need a positive performance and result.

I don't think he's up to the job but I actually feel a bit sorry for him...we came calling and he wasn't going to turn us down was he ? Way out of his depth and very inexperienced...such a bizarre appointment.

Feel sorry for the 1100 odd that made the effort and spent the money to watch that.

Has an u21 team ever reached the final?
No..which is strange as most of the PL u21's would be stronger than most of the league 1 & 2 teams you would think...not sure if they play beyond the group stages for some reason.

I had Southampton on Tuesday, only one that let me down and would have won £140.
Couldn't get a good cash out before then either because 2 of the games only went how I wanted after we went 2 up.
Still, City winning more than made up for it.
Me too, I had Southampton to win, 7 wins and one loss...cost me £490 from a £5 bet...I wasn't unhappy tho

Still over 400 left, from an allocation of 761.
I would say that's probably not bad, I was thinking 250 tops.

The early ko didn't stop the problems at the West Brom/Wolves game the other week...just means some will drink from cans and sniff some coke a bit earlier than normal.

A couple of impressive away fan numbers in a couple of games yesterday, 1k+ Argyle at Sunderland and 2k Pompey at Carlisle.
Impressive from Plymouth...1200 in total, longest trip in the EFL, 13 hours and 800 mile round trip.

It was Boro when the OB found out about certain plans and stopped a load of coaches leaving Bristol wasn't it ?
Went to Ayresome Park in the 90s. Stopped outside a Pub on the outskirts and were told we couldn't go in, until they realised we weren't from Middlesboro , then they let us in. Imagine a pub not letting locals from M'boro in
Yes, not sure of the year but we were both in Div 3 ..loads of publicity in the week leading up to the game...think some coaches were stopped on route and told the game was off and turned back..it was very intimidating up there that day..probably the worst I have experienced...they don't mess about up there

Nasty place back in the day...we've got a bit of history with them...different days now.

It's probably been mentioned elsewhere but I think it deserves a thread of its own...I thought our support last night was outstanding, most fans standing, most singing, the noise at times was fantastic...been plenty of positive comments on various platforms today from fans of other clubs praising the numbers and the atmosphere we created even from Forest fans. Well done to one and all and it was great to see so many youngsters decked out in City gear joining in with the songs...well most of them

The "Meadow lane sports bar" at Notts county is alright to be fair, comfy with good food as well as far as football catering goes.
For parking, if getting there an hour before kick off, parking on the embankment on the road by the river costs a fiver but be warned, getting out can take forever so not ideal if you ware wanting a quick getaway. I parked at Long Ashton park and ride at your place and that was rather good, quick getaway. Getting away from the City ground in the pedestrian stampede can be slow.Nottingham council are very much "Anti Car" and it shows. If you are able to walk, I would consider the train station car park, a bit less of a walk than from Ashton Gate to Long ashton park and ride. Can get away reasonably OK. Is a fiver after 10am I think. Would double check.
Train Station is about 10-15 minute walk from Meadow Lane (Notts County) if you are going to the sports bar.
Safe travels to anyone coming to the City Ground tonight.
If you are able to got some shots on goal, you might be surprised how awful our goalie is
Thanks for the info...I'm heading up more in hope than expectation and we don't do shots on goal so your keeper should be fine.

"I'll be 50 in a couple of months. First game v's Southend in 1966, won 3-1, hooked ever since!"
As we know, maths is not a strong point
Not sure what is the most unbelievable there...is it the fact that he watched Rovers 8 years before he was born or the fact that they beat Southend 3-1

Bizarrely, around me in S20 it seemed quite busy first half but loads more available seats second half..there were a few Leeds fans about that didn't reappear for the second half.

In the past it was said you can't make an atmosphere in the Atyeo.
Then during redevelopment away teams showed that wasn't true.
It's not about what stand people are in, it's about the people in the stand.
Exactly this...nobody moaned about the atmosphere against West Ham, even West Ham fans were saying it was a proper old school atmosphere...as you say it's not the stand it's the people in it..although there wasn't much to get us on our feet tonight but that can work both ways.
