A tough game against arguably the best team in the league, we’ll do well to get a point. I’d be more than happy with a good performance and losing by the odd goal. Obviously would prefer to nick it, but unfortunately feel It’s unlikely.

A change of scenery for me last night, my brother (77) was up from Plymouth for the game. I bought him his ticket in the Lower Lansdown and switched mine from Section 82 for the night.
8 rows from the front affords you a superb view and I was struck by how much quicker the game felt and how you could almost feel the intensity of the tackling and jostling for the ball.
Although you lose a little perspective across the pitch it took me back to my younger days of sitting on the East End wall with my legs dangling through the railings.
My brother had a great time, though having travelled on occasions to Argyle away games with mates in the past, he was really disappointed to hear how quickly they turned on their team at half time.
He has been to 3 games in the last 7 years and seen 18 goals. (Hull 5-5, Coventry 2-1 and now 4-1) I wish he could come more often. I love to hear his stories of Atyeo, Boxley, Peacock, Williams etc from before I was born.
For what it's worth he said he hasn't seen a City team play with that level of intensity before, and was impressed that we looked equally as strong after the substitutions.
Thanks to the lads for providing a great night for him, and "yah boo sucks" to the guys a few rows behind us who jokingly shouted at me to "act your age" when I joined in with the "stadium bounce".
Finally it was interesting to see Pearson having a little joke with Downsy and giving him a peck on the cheek as they were welcoming the players off the pitch at the end, perhaps not the pariah at the club that some think.
I’ve never seen your brother before, I have to say he’s much better looking the than you

I think it's safe for me to say that Robs recovery is going pretty much to plan with the odd minor setback, like having to have his knee drained a couple of times.
He seems in good spirits, I spoke to him after Saturdays game which he enjoyed from the Heineken Lounge, I think he was a bit miffed that Yeboah already has a song and he hasn't. I did suggest that he could fit into my Baby Shark proposal "At Kin Son, Doo doo doodoo" etc, but he said he would announce his immediate retirement if I ever got it started.
I think you can see he is good form and his dry sense of humour from this video released yesterday.
I will ask him what he thinks the Romans ever did for us, I mean of course the roads, the roads go without saying...
Personally I hate nosy neighbours

Good effort, good save. When things are going for you they go under the keeper, when they aren’t it hits the keepers legs.

Other championship games today had up to 20 minutes added. I think it’s more to do with deliberate time wasting.

He played the flanks really well 1st half, covering a lot of ground so maybe tiring...
I guess Cornick will replace him at some point

In colour then.
Compared to the 52 pages submitted for the arena
That’s a bit harsh, it’s even used joined up Writing.
and allegedly….. it’s a TARDIS and can hold up to 40,000 which will save then having to stand outside

I don't know why we have so many of these negative attitudes, I'm a pretty pessimistic person and even I think this kind of thinking is pretty depressing.
This may happen, he may get noticed and be sold on, but he also may really like it here and judging by his attitude may go on to be captain and enjoy that too and want to stay here, I guess it all depends on how we progress.
It was said slightly tongue in cheek, but also it’s a compliment to the lad, from what I’ve seen of him he seems to have everything, a few years here and he could be moving to the PL

I’m sure @Harry won’t mind me repeating this after his recent meet with Tinnion at FGR recently but apparently in training last week someone left a man free at the far post & Knight was livid. Screaming “We can’t do that lads we got a game tomorrow, we need to get everything right”……..NP & BT were lapping it up. He’s a leader & winner is JK. We have a very good player on our hands here & someone with experience at this level & Internationally also yet only 22. At 2m he’s a bargain!!
He won’t be here long then, 18 months at the most before being sold on. Enjoy him whilst you can .

SL seems to be saying he wants us to make £25m of sales each season (which is coincidentally what our current wage bill is estimated to be). If we don’t make those £25m sales do we need to reduce the wage budget further? We cut “numbers” by 2 this Summer, potential to go even smaller next season?
Is Nige still registered to play?, and Tinns for that matter…

If this statement/exercise was supposed to put to bed recent unrest, it seems to have completely backfired.
It’s obvious SL has changed tack, why not just come out and say it.
To try to deny it, and expect us to buy into it, is kind of treating us like fools

A word of advice, I don’t need advice thanks very much. The joke was between myself and PSR. Who, for your advice I’ve known for 54 years. So maybe it’s you that needs advice, not me.
